Devil Fruit Rules

Now as we all know devil fruits are a pretty big thing in One Piece. The fruits possessed by demons which grant mystical powers to the person who eats it. One devil fruit power belongs to one person until that character dies then the fruit may be re spawned elsewhere for someone else to eat. First off lets lay down some ground rules. Below is a list of things that will not be allowed on this rping site when it comes to devil fruits.

• Teleporting Devil Fruits - This constitutes as an auto dodger.

• Water Devil Fruits - This makes no sense.

• Sea stone Devil Fruits - Again, this makes no sense.

• No taking devil fruits which are already taken by someone else.

Devil Fruit Types

Now on to the Devil Fruit classes, there are three different classes.

Paramecia - These fruits allow the user to manipulate their body in a variety of different ways and is by far provides the users with the strangest powers from wax manipulation to rusting capabilities.

Logia - These fruits allow the user to become & manipulate a specific element from Smoke to Magma and thus allow them to dodge anything which isn't imbued with sea stone or haki.

Zoan - These fruits allow the user to change into animals and various forms including their animal counterparts such as Chopper's horn point or Lucci's Hybrid form. However these fruits can also be put into a subclass of Regular Zoan (Regular Animals) Ancient Zoan (Ancient Animals) & Mythical Zoan (Mythical Animals.)


Lets begin with rules on the Paramecia fruits.

Paramecia

With Paramecia fruits they are plain and simple fruits which grant the user abilities to vastly manipulate their own bodies. These fruits can either take place with in the users by allowing them certain abilities or by giving them a constant power such as Luffy or Brook's where it changes their body to rubber or grants them a second life. Or it may grant the user a power such as Kidd or Capone's which may be used whenever they wish for it to be used.

Upon coming into contact with sea stone, water or salt the powers will be nullified & strength sapped out of the user, but only whilst in contact. If a paramecia user is attacked with someone who has imbued their weapon or limb in haki this also will provide the full force unto the user if their fruit removes the normal pain they should receive such as Luffy's rubber ability won't allow most attacks to hurt as much thus he is not as badly injured through the use of haki he can be injured as if not made of rubber.

Logia

The users of logias become an element and gain an ability to manipulate it too. Due to being an element though this allows the user to avoid everything that comes their way and even reform such as Aokiji & Borsalino. This is the only incident in which auto dodging will be allowed as it is part of the devil fruit's ability. However upon coming into contact with sea stone, water, salt or haki imbued weaponry/limbs the powers will be nullified and thus they will be able to be harmed.

Zoan

The users of zoans are gifted with the ability to become an animal along with various forms such as Chopper's Horn Point. Once a person gains a zoan devil fruit they will then be given 4 levels of before reaching mastery.

The first level will only allow the user to become Human, a Hybrid version of their animal & the full animal form.

The second level will allow the previous forms as well as 3 more forms which includes certain parts of their bodies such an Anaconda user could use Scale point and turn their skin into scales.

Upon reaching the third level they will be allowed to open up to using 4 more forms as well as being naturally stronger & faster. If using a rumble ball or anything similar to one they will be able to turn into their monster form with little control.

Once they reach the fourth level the user will have a choice. They can either become an awakened zoan (Impel Down Guards) or remain as they are with an ability to control their monster form. If the user agrees to becoming an awakened zoan then they will become simplistic, feral & beastly however they will retain the knowledge of how to walk on two legs hold things & see their enemies from allies. But they will be stuck like that forever and be unable to change back.

Devil Fruit Mastery Levels

When it comes to mastering the levels of your devil fruit each devil fruit will have a different number of levels due to the complexity of the fruit such as Luffy's rubber fruit may have lots to expand upon whilst Buggy's chop chop fruit may not have any where near as much, thus the leveling up can either be split up into 5 levels with short periods of training up to the next level or 2 levels with longer periods of leveling up or even 3 or 4 levels of mastery however the more levels the less time between leveling up the less levels the longer time.
