Miu blinked and took Momo off her neck and held her up for the strange girl to see. "Momo Nee-San" She said softly as the large white and black panda fox stared and sniffed the space between the strange girl and itself.

While it did so Miu took in the look of the strange girl before her,she had never seen her before and she wasn't running away in fear...so maybe she wasn't from around here? Where ever she was from she was pretty,like those china dolls she sometimes saw in the shop windows. She had a strange need to reach out and touch the girl to see if she was real.

Chizu hesitated before slowly lifting her arm, holding it out for the panda fox to sniff, she really wanted to pet the creature, but she didn't think Momo would like being petted by a total stranger. Last time Chizu had tried to pet something, the cat she'd tried to pay had nipped her hand, so wanting to avoid another situation like that was understandable.

"Momo's adorable," Chizu commented after spending a minute thinking about what she could say. Chizu had almost called Momo cute, but then had quickly remembered her hatred for the word cute. That was when the other girl reached out and touched Chizu. The young girl blinked, "Why'd you do that?"

Still unable to find the masked girl. The Tengu decided that he might as well go along with his own plan. He wondered why he even considered talking to the little child in the first place. It would be a pointless effort, as far as the Tengu was concerned. The masked man drew his blade out of his scabbard. The Tengu looked at his blade, it once belong to a man that was known to be the bandit king in the west blue. So suffice to say the blade was the tool for many deaths back along the sea. Today would be no different.

The Tengu focused his attention to the closest building. He slowly pointed his blade toward the building. Grabbing the hilt with both hands he began to concentrate. Focusing both his mind and his body on the task he had set for himself. Then in a sweeping motion, he would utilize the hassoken's vibrational method to vibrate his blade so that he would be able to cut through the stone building easier, and cut the building in half. Then without wasting a moment the Tengu would lift his hand. The two halves of the building took to the sky. Floating in the air along with the two buildings. The Tengu looked down at the town.

"What a pitiful town." he whispered.

With a single motion of his hands he allowed the buildings to fall. One went towards the market place, the other went to the religious building of the town. The stone collided with stone leaving a pile of dead bodies and rubble. Those who survive could only look up in the sky to see a single figure looking down on them. A winged red-haired man in a long nosed mask. It wouldn't last long though, cause in the next moment the Tengu would be down close to ground level. His blade would tear through the buildings. Adding to the destruction, The Tengu was going to produce. His fingers would tap the side of the buildings, yet none had taken to the sky yet. The Tengu was preparing to send the town a message. The little girl they had been hunting wasn't a monster... No, the real monster had just arrived. It was the Tengu.

Miu was about to reply to the girl but stopped suddenly her eyes widening in fear at the sight coming behind the other girl. Without a word she garbed her suddenly and pulled her down the street just as a large wave of dust blew past along with trash and rubble,like a land tidal wave.

Miu coughed waving the dust away as she looked at her clothes,the once white and red kimono dress had turned brown and even black where the dust had coated it.

She had just washed it! She sighs as she peeks out around the corner,she could see plumes of smoke and hear screams coming from the marketplace. She bit her lip beneath the mask,should she go back or just go home?

Unfortunately her decision was made for her when her furry companion took off towards the smoke and screams. "Momo nee-san!.." She called out watching her run ahead. That fox would get her killed one day!

The dropping buildings had sure scared Chizu, thankfully Miu had pulled her away from most of the dust wave. Coughing, Chizu did her best to dust off her dress. The other girls white dress had suffered more than Chizu's black one. That was when Miu's companion Momo ran towards the smoke and screams.

"We should go after her! Maybe we could help some people too." Without waiting for a response, Chizu dashed ahead of the other girl, following the fox.

Chizu wanted to know why this had happened, and how. But mostly why. Her gaze flitted towards the sky, noticing the floating man. Would he add more destruction?

Once the Tengu had finished touching each and every building within the town the Tengu once again rose into the sky. With sheathing his sword he decided that now was time to make an announcement. With a voice much louder and much lower than the original voice of Rai he made a announcement to the village.

"Greetings Villagers... Your Island is now under the control of Hyakki Yakki. All you need to do is give up every piece of valuable and place it in the midst of the market place by nightfall or subjugate every law enforcement official and leave them in the middle of the market place. I do not care which one you decide... If you do not I will wipe your town off the face of the map before the dawn."

The Tengu had finished what he wanted and within the second he would disappear from the sky. If the villagers listened to him their town might be saved. If not well... everyone knew what would happen.

Miu frowned as she heard the strange mans speech,she knew the people here had very little money,even less in law enforcement. The villagers though stupid were very close,everyone knew everyone. The only one left out was her,sure they tried to kill her and wanted her gone but in a strange way she didn't mind it was fun to her.But still she had questions,like why he wanted to take over the Island?

She dodged a pile of rubble a hand sticking out from it as she chased her fox. That fox was sometimes a troublemaker but this was the first time she had run into true danger by herself. What was that crazy fox thinking?! "Momo Nee-San wait!" she called again.

Chizu frowned, this was a troubling development for sure. She didn't like the threat to destroy the whole town, nor did she like this guys method of going about things. All the valuables or all the law enforcement. She slowed, allowing Miu to pass her in pursuit of Momo.

Out came her sling shot, as she stared up at the floating man, she contemplated attempting to shoot him out of the sky, but something told her that wouldn't work very well. Fortunately he disappeared soon after making his speech. Chizu began running again, following Miu and Momo, for now she'd help the people if she could. Once they were all in a safe place making the decision on how to act, Chizu planned to get far away from this island as quickly as possible.

Drawing close to the damaged areas of the town, Chizu slowed, looking for whoever would need her help first.

The Tengu sat on the top of the island's highest still standing building. After seeing how the people reacted to a small girl with a mask he couldn't help but wonder how they reacted to the floating deity. He didn't really care if the people pulled together some sort of fund or even if they were to oust the law enforcement stationed in the island... if they even had law enforcement. Their fate had already been decided, they were merely his first step in getting his name known. Though one might find his ways to be... extreme. Bad news travel faster than good news. A man known for destroying islands will become famous much faster than a man who saves islands.

The Tengu sighed. At least it would get rid of the town's idiocy, he thought. They obviously hadn't gotten the pleasure of seeing a real monster in action and now they have. He could have just as easily cut down the entire town with a simple gesture. Yet he gave them the option out of it. The Tengu expected them to attempt to leave the island by sea. Should they do so, the Tengu wasn't going to completely eliminate the escape route... Though he was going to make it difficult. Hyakki Yakki could always use some slaves for their new base.

Miu finally grabbed the fast fox and held her up to her masked face. "Momo Nee-san stop running this is so unlike you!" She watched as the fox took her regular place around her neck. "what would of happened if you got trapped under some rubble huh?" But the girls anger vanished quickly at the adorable look in its eyes. She sighs and pets her softly "I cant stay mad at you.."

"Now...time to find Mr Long nose.." She says with a smirk.

Chizu got straight to work. She assisted local law enforcement in getting anyone trapped in the rubble out. Well, she tried to at least. Being small like she was made it difficult to do much. There was also the fact that several of them did not want her help in the first place. Which was understandable in the long run. Chizu was a stranger, and a stranger was threatening to destroy this town. The villagers didn't know if Chizu was a part of that or not, and they weren't about to take any chances. Plus Chizu looked like a doll, and that was just plain freaky.

Off put by being told to get away and let them handle it, Chizu left wondering if that girl and the panda fox were alright. "Maybe I should just go." Chizu muttered, "No one wants me here. They've proved that, and this isn't my home town, so I shouldn't get involved in the decision process." Chizu didn't mind that she was talking to herself, she did it all the time anyways.

The Tengu waited for the people to make their decision. He couldn't care less on how they made it and it wasn't like any of them were powerful enough to harm him. So he decided that he was going to take a stroll through town. See just how much damage he caused with his smallest assault ever.

Miu turned back to see the doll girl gone,she felt very sad she thought maybe they could be friends...but she hadn't even learned her name. Can't be friends if you don't know a name. Everyone left her behind or didn't want her around at all...Was she really that desperate for a friend who could talk back?

All around her people were being pulled from wrecks and those that weren't pulling people out were pulling what ever valuables they could this made her smile at lest a bit they would all stay together even if they had no money.

Miu started to leave the wreck part of town,the streets were empty in this part of the village. It was so quiet now..

Chizu decided since she couldn't do much anymore, it was time to get out of that town as quickly as possible. The doll like girl headed back to the docks, where she found the fisherman who had dropped her off earlier, packing up quickly.

"Oh hey, are you leaving because of all this too?" she asked walking over to his ship.

"Let me guess, you want to come with and get out of here before crazier things happen? Help me pack up and I'll take you with me to a different island." the minute the words left the fisherman's mouth, Chizu began aiding him in packing up his boat.

Once everything that was needed had been packed away, the two pushed off. Leaving the town to its fate.

Time passed as the Tengu moved through the streets . As he continued walking he found himself slowly losing interest in the town. Sure he had destroyed the place but now he felt that wasn't the best way to go about taking over the town. Deciding that it would be best if he didn't waste anymore time in the town. Taking to the sky he would leave the town in a pile of wreckage.

Miu decided that it was time to give up the search,her being around so much damage was starting rumors. Besides Mr Long Nose seemed like he would be more trouble then she needed or wanted. No doubt they might think she had been a part of this somehow....Maybe she would leave the Island,without her they would have no one but themselves to blame for problems..

With an angry sigh she started her way back to the forest thinking of adventures she could have. Deciding to sleep on it she pets Momo "Come on let's go home.." She says before disappearing into the dark forest.
