Fighting Style Name: Tenryū no sutairu (Divine Dragon Style)
Origin:A technique from the North Blue, it was designed in order for a single swordsman to be capable of defending against an entire crew of pirates. It was of course vastly improved when one of the early practitioners reached the Grand Line and learned the type of speed and flexibility associated with Rokushiki. With these improvements the style began to truly make its mark on the world, gaining the attention of the marines, or more specifically the agents associated with the marines. As they were often out in the field alone it seemed like an ideal technique to document and teach to those who would wield a sword well.
Overview: Origonally crafted in the North Blue this style demands incredible speed and agility from it’s practitioners. It also requires an incredible ability to read people to the point of so called “telepathy” which allows the user to react to attacks at such speeds that it appears that they predicted the movements. Meant to be used on the battlefield against multiple opponents, each technique uses minimal motion in order to conserve energy and provide less openings.

Technique Name:  Tenryū no hanmā (Divine Dragon Hammer)
State:Zero State
Type:Sword
Description & After effect:A strike from higher than the opponent, the user uses the momentum of the fall to add strength to the two-handed sword swing, bringing the blade down on the opponents head or shoulder.

Technique Name: Tenryū no kiba (Divine Dragon Fang)
State:Zero State
Type:Sword
Description & After effect: A strike from higher than the opponent, the user uses the momentum of the fall to add strength to the downward stab.

Technique Name:  Tenryū no koiru (Divine Dragon Coil)
State:Zero State
Type:Sword
Description & After effect:A counterstrike designed to be used when an opponent thrusts. The user sidesteps moving forward past the lunging opponent while spinning in a full circle. This adds momentum and force to the strength of the swing, which is generally aimed at the back or the back of the neck.

Technique Name:  Kyūjōshō shita ryū (Soaring Dragon)

Description & After effect:A rising attack meant to strike from below, generally aimed at the jaw. A second hand can be placed flat on the blade as the user rising up in order to add strength and accuracy to the blow.

Technique Name: Tsuin ryū (Twin Dragon)

Type:Sword
Description & After effect:A seminally simple draw strike, the user strikes with the quickened sword, followed by the empty sheath as a blunt weapon. Both follow the same path, creating an insurance in case the sword is avoided or blocked.

Technique Name:  Tenryū no koiru : Dageki (Divine Dragon Coil : Strike)
State:Zero State
Type:Sword
Description & After effect:Rather than waiting for the opponent to strike, the user sidesteps the opponents guard, turning their weapon away with a turn of the wrist that allows the sword to slide past without fear of harm.

Technique Name:  Tenryū no Jū (Divine Dragon Gun)

Description & After effect:A distanced attack, the user rotates rapidly and then stops, aiming the sheath at the target. The force of the stop shoot the sword out of the sheath like a bullet.

Technique Name: Kyū-tsu no atama ryū (Nine Headed Dragon)

Type:Sword
Description & After effect:A lightning fast that uses incredible speed to “simultaneously” strike nine vital points on the foe’s body. The points follow: Above head with a downward strike, across the right shoulder, right arm, right wrist, groin, left wrist, left arm, across the left should to the breastbone.
