[Schichibukai Only] Epilogues

The sun had just began to climb the sky as the long, pointed ship had made dock. The red line was a massive wall made out of natural rock, scaling it was improbable, but not unheard of. Not many dared to brave the vast climb, for what was on top of it was more daunting for many than the trip itself. Mariejois was a city of splendour, if you looked at it from a literal view. Truly, it was a dystopia, inside its large castle lived the Celestial Dragons, the World Nobles, who practically saw the entire world as their playground.

 

However, that was not the location in which the long elevator brought the sharp nosed man. There was a Schichibukai meeting, and the for the members who traversed paradise it was mandatory. The New World schichibukai however needn’t bother, for it was only ‘strongly advised’. The meeting room had a large, round table with chairs. The waiting room was quaint, having a coffee table and cushioned stools.

 

The marines littered the grounds like cockroaches, Bouchard could see no less than five dozen snipers upon the rooftops as he was escorted to the waiting room. Burly knights patrolled the grounds, and the trumpets announced that a World Noble was coming. Luckily for him however, he made it into the building before he had to sully his clothing from kneeling.

 

“Greetings, Warlord.” A burly secretary with multiple scars across his face said. “The meeting begins in an hour. Left, right then five doors down on the right.” He’d continue doing whatever it was he was doing beforehand, no doubt paperwork. Nodding silently, he made his way down the corridors. He was one of the select few pirates allowed to enter Mariejois, no doubt others may already be there.

 

He opened the door to the meeting room, and went to sit down. If there already were Warlords there, then there was only one he need pay attention to. However, he didn’t know which one.

Aw man, what a drag. Just being here already felt pretty boring for poor, old Jane. This meeting wasn't mandatory, per se, but let's face it, "strongly advised" meant mandatory. Regardless, Jane left her house a while prior to the meeting taking place that day. Since she did not own a ship of her own, she was escorted via Marine frigates and was given special privileges on those ships. Pretty laid back ride, if not dull. Now, she was standing in Mariejoie, the Marine capital of the world.

Jane had been here before countless times for meetings, and almost all of them ended up being the same. Still, she had to go to them because they were "mandatory". Even the placement of people looked almost the same the last time she was here! Although, she was sort of expecting it seeing as these were Marines and they were all dressed the same, stood the same, had the same weapons, et cetera, et cetera.

Just as Jane was about to make her way to the main entrance, she heard the blaring sound of trumpets. Oh boy, it was one of those jokers, and they're back again. During the few times Jane had the displeasure to meet them, they all looked down at her with disdain and scoffed at her casualness towards them. Yeah, like freakin' hell she was staying for the welcome wagon to arrive. While trying to make herself look as natural as possible, Jane sped-walked the entire way to the entrance she was supposed to go in and made her way to the elevator she was supposed to take.

Up, and up, and up she went. She stopped at the determined floor and exited the elevator and was greeted by the secretary there. Roughly an hour til the meeting, turn left, then right, then take the door on the right five doors down or something.

"Thanks, Joe." Jane said as she shot the now confused secretary a gun finger. She then passed down the hallway and towards the meeting room
