"Alright follow me, I'm going to break open these doors and your going to cover me. The cells in these places are behind locked doors. Double locking makes it that much harder to escape, but that much more of a pain to unlock & lock every time too. But its a small price to pay."

Matt nodded once more and followed Lero's lead. He stood behind the captain and looked left and right, keeping look out for any possible pirates. A few moments later, the captain had bent the bars for his comrades to get out. That was one door done, Matt followed the captain to the next. This was going smoothly so far due to the captain's incredible leg strength, let's just hope it stays that way.

"Did you hear that?" a voice called out followed by the sound of locks turning and keys jingling. Footsteps begun to echo throughout the corridor and in a matter of moments eyes were laid upon a red haired Marine Recruit standing guard as his armless Captain freed the last of his comrades from the cells they'd put them in.

Stepping out from the last room and catching sight of the pirates Lero stepped beside Matt.

"Team Beta take 'em down. Team Alpha go rescue Horhee. Summer. We're going to take down this fort's leader and I know exactly where he is."

Watching as the collision between marine & pirate broke out, Lero pushed past launching out a few kicks to keep himself safe.

Reaching the other side of the fight and stepping out of the prison section of the fort he turned to Matt.

"We just need to find the lift and we'll be on our way to his office."

Turning his head to peer around the corridor Lero spotted a map nailed to the wall.

"Grab that map and lead the way Summer."

Matt trailed behind Lero and listened to his every word, it seemed they were going straight for the leader. However first things first, they need to find the lift which leads to the office. Spotting a map, Lero ordered Matt to lead the way to the lift.

"Yes, sir!"

Snatching the map from the wall, Matt held it up and began to examine. They needed to go down this corridor and take a left followed by a right. Matt began to jog down the corridor.

"This way. We'll have to take a left then a right." Matt said as he jogged, expecting Lero to follow him.

Following Summers who held a map in front of him Lero hoped he was right, he just wanted to get this fort back and head off. He was sick and tired of being on this island.

Seeing the lift just ahead of them both he picked up the pace and slammed a heel into the button. Looking towards Matt he smiled.

"You ready for this?" he asked curiously as the doors opened and in Lero stepped hoping Matt was ready.

Matt replied to Lero's question with a simple nod to show that he indeed was ready. The lift opened it's doors and Matt stepped inside and looking at the buttons over to the right.

1st Floor
2nd Floor
3rd Floor
4th Floor

Looking over his captain, he pointed at the buttons.

"So, which floor do you reckon we go, sir?" he asked as he fixed his mask a little.

Looking at Summers and feeling his own heart beating a little more rapidly than normal Lero took a deep breath before looking at the buttons and as Matt questioned him which floor he slammed his heel into the buttons shattering the lights & all around general build up of the decoration of the buttons.

Having pressed Floor 4 he turned to face Summers.

"To the top, its time this bastard meet his end."

Closing the doors the lift begun to rise up the shaft. Gentle elevator music begun to play and irritate Lero. With his teeth pressing against one another he looked towards the door then Matt then back at the door again. Soothing and annoyingly gentle the tune begun to play on Lero's nerves. He didn't like awkward silences, but now here they were in an enclosed space on their way up to beat down some pirate bastard.

Matt removed his mask, it was getting a little too hot. He'd put it back once he was out the elevator. He slowly tapped his foot to the elevator music, hey, it wasn't that bad. Quite catchy actually. A good break is always needed, even for marines. There was an awkward silence for quite some time, Matt was planning on breaking the ice but the doors to the elevator opened wide. They had arrived. Putting on his mask, he stepped outside and waited for the captain to do so to.

"Hm. Where could that moron be hiding...?" Matt muttered to himself as he looked straight ahead.

Reaching the top floor the lift doors opened up and from the ceiling a fist came crashing down reaching for Summer's. Attempting to grab hold of his clothing the hand reached down further as debris fell down around Matt.

Rolling out of the lift and looking back Lero recognized the marking on the arm that hung through the roof. It was Butch.



A hulk of a man who reached a height of 8 feet with bandages all over one side of his face. A white tank top and a trench coat sitting atop that he was a hell of a bastard.

"C'mere you sonovah!" he shouted in a thuggish voice angrily as he tried to grab hold of Summers. On his forearm was a tattoo Lero had seen before and this guy Butch was the only man who he'd ever seen it on.

A tattoo of his ex wife.

"Summers deal with that psychopath, I'm going to move on ahead and deal with his leader. Oh and good luck, you'll need it facing off against that guy."

Charging on ahead Lero went in search of the pirate Captain known as the "Stalker".

Matt leaped back as he saw an arm crash through the roof to the building, what on earth was happening!? The man yelled something however Matt couldn't hear it. Listening to Lero's orders, Matt nodded. He was a little shaky, this was the first major battle he had ever participated in. The captain trusted him and he wasn't gonna let that trust go to waste. He clutched the man's wrist.

"How dare you challenge the marines."

Matt knew this man would overpower him and that he'd probably get dragged through the roof, the helmet would protect him from any damage dealt to his head. If the man did drag him up, then he'd hold onto the man's wrist and aim a kick for the man's stomach and then let go.

Matt Summer Vs Butch "Patches"

Hearing the words from a pathetic marine bellowing out Butch pulled his arm back up through the roof. A couple of seconds passed then suddenly the lift shook and next it fell crashing down the shaft. All that was left was an empty shaft with a broken cord hanging.

The cord drooped a little and as it did the man whose arm had come crashing through the roof of the lift swung on to the edge of the lift's exit and this floor's entrance.

Pulling a cigar from his lips and exhaling an enormous gust of smoke left his lips. Flicking the cigar into the shaft he cracked his knuckles over the right side of his face there were a series of plasters covering up the cuts from glass bottles, windows and various other attacks he'd encountered before ringing the throats of Naval officers.

"Sorry, you talking to me kid?" he asked.

Reaching into his coat he brushed it aside to reveal a revolver the size of Matt's head. Pulling it out and spinning the revolver on his index finger, Butch took aim at Matt.

"Funny fing about a gun like 'is, it's not just a gun, but a bloody good 'ammer too."

Taking aim at Matt who was now standing in front of a pillar, Butch knew just what he was doing.


Lero Vs The Stalker



Walking along the path Lero ignored the sounds of combat behind him and paused. He knew that this place was now a death trap for him.

The Stalker was named such a thing because he could follow you for a month and you'd never know it.

"Theres no point in hiding, I know your here and you know that we're going to come to blows."

Feeling something strike him at the lower point of his back Lero grunted a little and leant forward feeling blood trickle down.

"Khahahahahahaha, that's a warning, if you chose not to leave then the next will be your platelets and finally your throat." a sickly voice screeched from all around.

Closing his eyes to try and pin point the voice Lero took a few steps towards the pillar. He knew that against a man like the stalker, it was his best chance at winning as for Summers, it was the complete opposite.

He could already hear and feel the war raging outside these walls among marines and pirates and the floor shook from explosions.

Screams rose as blood hit the floor splattering over the living and dead.

Matt looked back as he so the lift fall down the shaft, leaving nothing but a cord. Suddenly, the man swung from that cord and onto the floor Matt was on. Matt got his fists in front of him, this man looked big, maybe he could use that to his advantage? Seeing as the man drew a large pistol, Matt began to feel a little intimidated but he tried his best not to show it. So he was a long-ranged fighter? This was bad. Matt had left his rifle back at the training grounds at the beach. What could he do now?

His only option was to hide, he quickly leaped to his side then behind the pillar. Matt had a feeling this man was plotting something, maybe he would attempt to destroy the pillars or may- Shut up! Matt was thinking too much, all he needed to do is kick the man down the shaft.

"Alright. Slow and steady.." Matt said to himself.

Matt Summer Vs Butch

As the bullet sped past Matt's previous location 3 gigantic bullet crashed into the pillar shattering it quickly. The roof above Matt begun to crumble and in a matter of moments it came crashing down sloping where the smallest area of the room was at Matt's location and larger area was Butch's playground.

Holstering his weapon once more Butch cracked his knuckles.

"Its time for you to man up and stop being a little pussy."

Reaching down to grab a pipe which had come down with the roof he banged it against the floor sending shock waves through it along with a hell of a noise that echoed through the room.

Lero Vs The Stalker

"Hiding from me now are we? Well too bad it's no use."

Shooting out from the shadows again and towards Lero this time he was ready. Jumping into the air with his back against the pillar he attempted to slam his heel into the Stalker's face and pin him to the wall or the ground.

That was when the pillar where Matt had been shattered and his focus was disturbed. Looking back he muttered quietly.

"Summers what the hell are you doin'?"

"Looks like your colleague is in trouble" the sickly voice called out as two projectiles came his way in the form of air slashes.

Hurricane Slaughter

Hearing the slight movement as the foe muttered Lero noticed the direction and rolled around the pillar allowing the stone to take the effects of such an attack.

"You'll need to leave that pillar soon or I'll bring the house down around you." he said as if his slimy tongue were dragging along the ground.

As the bullets dug into the pillar, shattering it, Matt decided it was time to move. He had barley made it in time, the rubble in the roof smashed behind Matt. He quickly came to a halt and picked up a big piece of rubble, it was heavy and he had to use two hands. He then began to turn with the rubble in his hand, he began to speed up. Once he had gained enough speed he let go of the large piece of rubble, it went charging towards Butch. As soon he let go, he stopped turning.

"C'mooon!" He yelled as the rubble flew towards Butch.

He was feeling a little dizzy from all that spinning but it was nothing he could handle, there was two ways out of this. Either to get Butch down the shaft or he'll have to escape. The first option seemed better, he wasn't gonna run, Lero trusted him.

Matt Vs Butch

When the sudden large chunk shooting towards him Butch swing the pipe towards it and shattered it within moments dust was everywhere.

"That all you've got?" he asked as he charged towards Matt dragging the pipe along behind him scrapping it against the ground.

This friction heated the pipe up as well as scratching it up.


Lero Vs The Stalker

Shooting out from the shadows towards the pillar in an attempt to break it in two Lero stepped to his right out from behind the pillar in time to see the Stalker's hands contacting the pillar and slicing it clean in half.

Time seemed to have slowed down during this brief moment as Lero managed to land an attack on the young stalker with nails so long they allowed him to create slashing projectiles.

Lucky Rabbit's Foot/Rakkīusagi no ashi: Five Card Heart

Slamming into the stalker's chest he slammed into the rubble that was now a wall between Lero & Summers. Grinning as he looked at the man coughing from the sudden strike, Lero made haste in not letting this chance go to waste.

Charging at the stalker he threw himself into his next attack.

Lucky Rabbit's Foot/Rakkīusagi no ashi: Rainbow's Beginning

Catching his chin and sending him into the ceiling Lero continued to brutalize the young man. Crashing down towards Lero, the stalker watched as he used Lucky Rabbit's Foot/Rakkīusagi no ashi: Four Leaf Clover

When a sudden block of rubble shot towards him the stalker Calico used this as the perfect cover to slash through it and as the dust flew everywhere used a little technique of his own.

Cross Cutter

Slashing open his chest and next landing on it in his slightly stunned state Lero hit the ground as Calico landed on his chest and sat comfortably gazing down into his eyes whilst he held a clawed hand in the air as his tongue hung from his mouth dripping with drool.

Matt was surprised to see that his rock didn't even harm the man, he just simply smacked it away. Looks like he needed to do more than just throw rubble around. Matt got ready as he saw the man charge towards him, as the man ran, Matt spotted a pipe behind Butch. He knew exactly what to do, he needed to dodge and roll past the man, he would then pick up the pipe and wield it as a weapon. However, you need to walk before you can run, he needed to dodge first. He got ready and was prepared to move as quick as he can.

Matt Vs Butch

Swinging the pipe from right to left towards Matt's waist with incredible speed Butch wasn't planning on missing and if he did then he had a nasty surprise waiting for Matt. This little kid had been lucky enough to magically avoid all attacks so far and avoid being hurt, but that's because he was weak.

"For someone who wants to be a hero you don't like gettin' into it much. Your pathetic, real heroes charge straight on into the heat of battle without a care in the world. Especially if their close combat fighters. They don't run like a coward. Like a loser, like a child."


Lero Vs The Stalker

With a hand held above in the air and long sharp nails pointing down towards his throat Lero gulped. He couldn't really do much and as the psycho Calico begun his finishing attack dropping his hand with such speed towards his throat, his life flashed before his eyes.

Lucky Rabbit's Foot/Rakkīusagi no ashi: Rainbow's Beginning

Even though it was only his knee which slammed into Calico it was enough to knock him off and onto his face. Rolling over and picking himself up Lero peered down at Calico as the blood dripped from his shirt. Slowly getting to his feet in front of Lero, Calico cracked his neck then turned to face the Marine Captain who was here to beat him.

"Not so easily beaten I see Captain Leeeero"

"Armless and useless don't mean the same thing."

The pipe slammed against Matt's wait causing Matt to fall to the side, damn, it nearly made Matt lose his breath. He fell onto the floor with an aching waist. He slowly got back up, just in time to hear Butch's words. Useless...? Coward...? Child...? Butch was right, he wasn't a child anymore, he wasn't playing with his friends. This was the battlefield, not a game.

"Ouch, a mosquito just bit me on my waist." Matt said as he dusted himself off.

Matt needed to show how much of a hero he really was, charging towards Butch, he pulled back his left fist and shot it towards Butch's stomach, this was a feint. He would pull that fist back before shooting one towards Butch's chin.

Matt Vs Butch

Grinning as he watched the baby hit the floor, Butch raised the pipe up ready to swing it down and finish him, although this is when his attack was cut short by a sudden surprise as the puny Marine threw his fist towards his stomach. Taking the full brunt he chuckled and didn't move an inch nor make any sound of pain.

With the pipe still raised he received a punch to the chin and this made his head knock back momentarily before he slowly brought it back and smiled.

This smile soon turned into laughter before Butch continued with his attack. Bringing the pipe down at such speed he aimed to crack Matt's skull open like had happened to him so many years ago.

"Too bad for you, that might've actually hurt if I hadn't metal implants."

Feeling nothing in his chin nor one side of his face thanks to these implants he was a strong contender and now Matt knew why he was so formidable.

Burping Butch's breath stunk rancid and foul but it filled the area which was just what he wanted. Better out than in.

Lero Vs Calico

Speeding towards Lero with his hands open and nails at the ready Calico attempted to slash through his stomach. He vanished from sight and before appearing behind him with bloody hands and nails leaving a messy Lero corpse, he appeared behind Lero with tears in his eyes and blood dripping from his newly pained arm.

All Lero needed to do was kick his forearm and in doing so the speed Calico had traveled at and the resistance Lero's foot gave were more than enough to snap Calico's arm the wrong way.

With a bone sticking out and blood oozing forth Lero turned around to see the sick stalker in agony screaming, spewing up blood and saliva unsure and uncertain of his next move.

"Ready to give up yet?"

The pipe collided against Matt's hard helmet, causing a dent on it. Matt was a little annoyed, this guy was becoming more and more of a nuisance. If things kept on going on like this, the he'd be a bloody mess on the floor by no time. He needed to be quicker with his moves, he shot his right knee towards Butch's crotch. He was gonna start to play dirty if he ever was gonna take this guy. If this move was blocked, he would shot both his fists towards the Butch's stomach.

Matt Vs Butch

Grinning as the pipe connected with Matt's helmet Butch felt the sheer force of vibrations from the resistance the helmet gave shudder down the bar. To simply see the recruit still on his feet surprised him. Almost as much as a sudden foot to the groin.

Pausing for a moment the pain registered. The clatter of the pipe dancing on the ground was heard followed by the sounds of war outside this room. Taking a step back and cracking his knuckles once more to try and distract himself of the overwhelming pain which rung through his genitals.

"Don't you know not to kick a man there?! Thats playin' dirty!"

Fueled with rage the pirate known as Butch threw a small tantrum slamming his meaty fists into the ground shaking the very ground beneath them followed by slinging bits of debris which fell from the roof above towards Matt.

Making sounds which were indescribable he was clearly in pain and just wanted this Seaman Recruit, Matt Summer, dead.

Lero Vs Calico

One slash later and the broken arm was on the floor.

Seeing the sudden shock in this Lero took a step back as the Stalker spun around and slashed diagonally trying to cut him once more.

"Giving up is the lazy man's arrest"

"Its a way out, but look if you want to keep dancing I'll happily oblige. "

Watching as the stalker started slashing attempting to cut up his body with his worryingly long 'n' sharp nail.

Constantly stepping back as each slash came his way Lero finally found himself with his back to a wall. Grinning as he licked his lips Calico, raised his one good hand and drove it down in a slashing motion to cut open Lero's throat.

Lucky Rabbit's Foot/Rakkīusagi no ashi: Lucky Number III

Grunting with each kick Calico stumbled back

Lucky Rabbit's Foot/Rakkīusagi no ashi: Raining Gold

Finishing this series of kicks with Calico struggling to stand himself Lero threw himself into a front flip which allowed him to bring forth a finisher.

Lucky Rabbit's Foot/Rakkīusagi no ashi: Dizzy Leprechaun

Spinning down with his foot like a drill he heard the screams as Calico took the full weight and power behind the attack. Crushing him into the ground Calico laid a bloody barely conscious mess on the floor. Stepping from his body to the ground the only sound that rung through Lero's ears was that of Calico's deep breathing.

Feeling the blood from his chest wound dripping down he took a look at the wound before shrugging it off, he'd sustained worse. Turning and heading to the wall of debris, Lero started kicking his way through tossing rubble aside and even cracking a few bricks.

He wanted to make sure Summers was ok.

Matt was surprised to see the man known as Butch throw a tantrum, he shook the very floor with his fists and the rubble from the roof was coming down onto him. He raised his arms above his head to decrease the pain however he soon was buried under the rubble. His helmet helped protect him from any serious damage reach to his head, he was still alove and breathing but with all this rubble, it was very difficult to move. He panted heavily as he began to lose air, although this mask helped him a lot during this battle, it was also a burden and stopped most of the air from reaching him. Looks like this was the end, he'd just have to wait for Lero to save his ass. Looks like Butch was right, maybe he was useless after all.

"D-damn it...you're just one piece of sh!t." he said to himself as he lay beneath the rocks.

Just when all hope as lost, Matt felt something, cold, long and metal. It was... it was the pipe! Clutching it with both hands, he decided that he wasn't gonna let Lero save the day, he was the hero in this story. Using all his remaining might, Matt clutched the pipe and pushed it skywards, removing most of the rubble. This left him in an exhausted state. Slowly picking himself up, his knees were aching and his helmet was at it's peak. He tried his hardest to remain standing but all that rubble dropping on him really dealt damage. He smirked slightly.

"Damn it. These m-mosquitoes are really annoying."

Matt Vs Butch

Watching as the man was buried beneath the rubble Butch grinned, watching is body vanish beneath it all made him smile and feel all around great to see him down for the count. However waiting for a few moments to make sure he was down for good he started to see how it moved and the pipe he'd dropped rose up as did the stupid recruit with his clothing slightly torn and an exhausted stance.

Muttering something about mosquitoes, Butch had, had enough of this and pulled out his revolver taking aim on the stupid recruit. The distance was minuscule so missing wasn't an option. Considering how much of a fight this had been, it seemed Matt was knocking on death's door and the bullet in his revolver would be the invitation inside.

Squeezing the trigger he held a firm smile on his face feeling the bullet launch itself out and the kick back of such a large bullet from such a large gun.

(OOC: Doing everything I can to keep Matt alive Lero's on his way, right?)

Matt gulped as he saw the man lift his revolver, a bullet from that thing could shatter a pillar.. what would it do to him!? He was too exhausted to move quick enough, the bullet would surely end him. He needed to think what would Lero do in this situation? He'd probably kick the bullet away as if it were nothing, Matt couldn't do that! He closed his eyes and waited for the bullet to end him.

Crack

Was he dead? Of course not! He was still breathing, then what had happened? This man was aiming perfectly at him! He looked at the binoculars which sat around his neck. They were shattered. Could they have... taken the bullet? YES! Who knew these pair of binoculars could save his life? He was safe for now, but now he needed to get his aching body moving if he ever was gonna beat this dude. The rubble had destroyed his body and he couldn't even feel his legs. He had a plan. Raising the metal bar above his head he slammed it down onto the ground. He continued to do this, getting quicker each time. This caused some of the loose rubble that remained in the ceiling to come tumbling down towards Butch.

"How..do.. you... LIKE THAT!?"

Watching as the binoculars took the shot Butch tugged the hammer back once more and kept his aim on Matt, this time he was a gonner and no one would stop this.

Feeling something slam into his head Butch's head titled as if someone had snapped it, pausing momentarily a streak of red ran down his neck and shirt staining it horribly. Craning his head back up and gazing at Matt he chuckled.

"That's not going to be anywhere near enough to bring me down boy."

Squeezing the trigger once more to send out a shot towards Matt, Butch took a step closer and thrust his pistol forwards hoping to give it a greater push like the six gun slingers in the grand line he'd heard of with their mysterious fighting style.

As the gun went bang and the bullet scrapped along the barrel Butch's hands took the kick back with excitement of seeing Matt's face smothered all over the wall.

Crashing into the wall the bullet left a large hole, the sound of a crack was heard beneath the bang however. Smashing into his wrist had been Matt's savior.

A large steel toe capped boot knocked the gun in a different direction sending the bullet off course.

Now standing between Matt & Butch was the no armed legend Lero the bastard.

Feeling groggy the bloody man turned his gun back towards Lero only to see the sight of him shooting towards him with an outstretched foot as he used Lucky Rabbit's Foot/Rakkīusagi no ashi: Bunny Hop

Kicking him in the solar plexus Butch stumbled back a little and caught himself in time to see Lero's foot striking him across the chest.

Lucky Rabbit's Foot/Rakkīusagi no ashi: Lucky Number III

Taking the hits and still not showing any sign of going down Lero decided to up his game. Catching sight of Butch's sudden speed as he took aim and launched off three shots, Lero threw himself down on to his back and launched a kick upwards to tap it with the tip of his foot knocking it out of its trajectory.

Bringing his leg down to avoid being hit he slid his feet beneath two pieces of rubble that had come crashing down thanks to Matt and kicked them up towards the bullets which shatter them into dust.

Dust covered all.

Using it as cover as it temporarily blinded Butch, Lero pounced like a wild cat about to plunge its claws into its prey.

Lucky Rabbit's Foot/Rakkīusagi no ashi: Leprachaun's Kiss

Spinning after the kick Lero wound up beside Butch.

Lucky Rabbit's Foot/Rakkīusagi no ashi: Lady Luck's Hold

Watching him slam into the ground Lero threw himself into his next attack as Butch rolled over.

Lucky Rabbit's Foot/Rakkīusagi no ashi: Horseshoe II

Digging his feet into Butch's stomach and winding him Lero watched as his face turned red and eyes bulged from his skull. Realizing he would still be getting up Lero spun around on his torso bringing his foot sweeping around into his face knocking him unconscious.

Breathing heavily as his torso stung Lero raised his head to look at Matt. Stepping down from the unconscious body of Butch he approached Matt who seemed to be much worse for wear, as expected.

Crouching down before him Lero nodded to him.

"Good job, you can take that helmet off now Summers, there are no villains here anymore."

Noticing the blood running down Matt's neck Lero looked back into the soulessness of the mask and continued.

"Oh and Summers, you might want to get that wound checked out too."
