Before becoming a marine

Look at the picture. Just look at the picture and tell me if the person you see is a boy or a girl. If you guessed boy, well done. Claduio is often mistaken for a girl due to his clothing and accessories. Now, before I start on his clothing, let's start from the top and work our way to the bottom. Claudio has pink hair which, believe or not, is his natural hair color. It's a family thing, ya know, the recessive gene, dominant gene, blah blah blah. His eyes are a dark blue color however they are rarely ever seen due to him rocking a pair of sunglasses, even indoors he wears them. His skin is a pale-ish color so it's not too pale, though some people find his skin color to be quite odd at times. He loves to wear a long sleeved black shirt followed by white trousers held up by a black and white belt. The feature which everyone finds odd about Claudio is how he has pink nail polish on his nails, nail polish is worn by girls, right? What would a boy be doing with it? Moving on, Claudio keeps his weapon close, a large black and white rod which is half his size. The majority of this rod is white but the top part is black, the thing is, the black part actually serves as a lid. Pull open the lid and you get a large paint brush. Smart, eh?

Once becoming a marine

Nothing's really changed. The only thing different is his clothing which is the normal marine outfit, half of the marine shirt is tucked into the trousers while the other half is left hanging out. Around his neck, is a blue cloth which is tied into a not. The cloth is not very tight, if it was, he'd get strangled to death! His trousers are still a white pair and instead of trainers for footwear, it's big black boots.


Personality:

Claudio is considered weird by most people, and for a good reason too. Claudio, at times, may talk in a long, stretched out kind of speech. So if he were to say "Hello." It'd be "Hellooo". His tone of voice varies from each gender, if it's a female, he speaks in a lazy tone. If it's male, he speaks in lighter and more positive tone. If you can't figure out as to why that is, well, Claudio is drawn more to males than females. He enjoys the company of male but doesn't really mind the company of a female either. Claudio doesn't know the meaning of "personal space" and will tend to move very close to a person, so close, maybe you'd even be able to feel his breath.

Claudio, during his free time, is painting or reading. He enjoys to preform quite and simple activities over loud and noisy ones but if he has to then... he has to. Claudio doesn't mind getting ordered around by higher ranking marines but if a person on the same rank orders him around, he gets really annoyed. Male or not, you don't tell Claudio what to do... unless if you're ranking higher than him.

Background

Claudio was born on May 1st. His early life wasn't a happy one for his parents always got into fights. Since Claudio disliked watching his parents get into fights, he spent most of time outside the house making friends. As each day passed, the fights got worse and worse until they finally divorced. Claudio didn't understand what was happening at the time since he was so young. He moved away with his mother, leaving his father and friends behind. Once they had arrived at the new town, things were lonely. There was nothing to do and school was boring like usual. He also missed his father, although his mother described him as "bad man", it was still his father so he really did miss living with him. His mother noticed Claudio's boredom so she decided to give him a hobby which will hopefully keep him occupied. Painting. She enrolled him for painting club at school, at first, it was boring but the more he attended, the more he began to enjoy it. He could paint a whole new world and forget the world he was living him, it put his mind at ease.

On his 9th birthday, things began to get weird. His mother had always wanted him to be a girl, so she began to treat him as if he were a girl. She was even about to change his name to "Claudia." Claudio got used to how his mother was treating him, he wore nail polish and sometimes, even lipstick! He was bullied at school for this but he really didn't mind, if it made his mum happy, then he was happy. Years flew by and nothing really changed, he still attended art club and still wore girl accessories. He got so used to wearing them, that he puts them on by instinct! His mother then took him to the art gallery, the island they lived on was known for their awesome and valuable paintings, Claudio was amazed. The art was so detailed that it looked like it was from a photograph, Claudio was determine, he wanted to be able to paint pictures like those.

On his 18th birthday, his whole life turned upside down. Pirates invaded his island, like I stated before, the island was known for it;s valuable paintings. The pirates lit houses on fire and robbed the island of it's money and paintings, many people were slaughtered. The marines arrived and caught the pirates in their little act, they put a stop to their plans and retrieved the paintings and money. Ever since that day, Claudio felt as if he owed the marines. So once he turned 20, he moved out from his mother's home and applied for the marines. Once he had gotten accepted, he needed a weapon. He couldn't just run into battle with his bare fists, that'd be stupid. He looked all over the island for a blacksmith and after an hour of searching, he had come across one. He ordered the making of The Rod.

With a new weapon by his side, he joined the marines.

Weapon Description:

The Rod. Well, how should I put this... well, it's a rod. It's large rod made from wood, it's length is around 140 centimeters and the majority of it is white however the top part of this rod is black. The black part is actually a lid, pull open the lid and you will find a the fluffy tip of a paint brush. Turns out it wasn't just a rod from the start.

Weapon History:

Claudio ordered the making of the rod by his local blacksmith, at first, the blacksmith was confused as to why Claudio had ordered such a weird order but he shook it off, a customer is a customer. It took, weeks but The Rod was complete. Now Claudio combined something he loved with something which was important, painting and combat. The Rod acted as a large paint brush but it also can be used as a weapon if in the correct hands.
