[Serious-Open to Fro/Vae] United We Stand

It was a quiet day, upon Sunny High Hills, renowned for it's villages on top of large mounds of the earth, each village had it's own unique... Kind of theme, sort of. One village focused upon fishing, naturally resting upon the lowest hill, next to a stream that ran straight across the water. It was parallel to the water village. These villages were quite large, and collectively made quite a large city, for they were connected via bridges to which they could distribute. The stream was quite powerful, and in the middle of the island, dead-middle as well upon the stream, there was a large fish lure, which smelt of various products, from vanilla to garlic. This seemed to attract the fish towards the stream, to which they would end up upon the other side of the island, and the streams would send them through an infinite loop until they were caught. Furthermore, there was a village for marines, and a village for... Not marines. Rarely did they go into each other’s' villages, but the only way they could get to the other village would be to cross the bridge, and she could see any marines that came across to the island.

There were many other villages as well, a treasury village, an armoury village, a herd village, which was the largest one, tailoring village and so forth. It was quite a large island.

Mishi, along with her two companions were on a boat. Not a large boat, really. But it got them from place to place. While the two, named Billy and Takao were doing other things… Mishi was hugging the mast, as to not slip into the sea during her sleep. The island just about came into view around 4pm.

"Hey Billy, I thought they fixed your face. Why's your nose still outta place?"

"Oh haha. Very funny."

The two continued to argue as usual, when will they ever stop? It had been a day since their last battle and they have had a lot of time to rest since then. Every island they had visited there was trouble, will it be the same case for the next island? Only time would tell. Takao decided to whip out his guitar and play a song cause why not? He stroked the strings of the guitar creating a pretty good melody, he was improving.

"Oooooh! We're sailing, we're sailing, we're sailing! Um.. something which rhymes with sailing!"

The singing ruined the song, as usual.

Mishi heard something bad. Takao's music again? AGAIN? They needed to get hi some.. Actual music lessons. She glanced to the front and noticed the island that had recently came within view. The island looked familiar, was it...? "I know that place!" She said, excitedly. Hopefully a certain someone wasn't there, but still. She knew the place and maybe... Just maybe, she'd be able to sell her ivory horse for quite a bit.

She still kept to the mast, but the island was straight dead-ahead anyway, about half an hour to a full might see them getting there. "And stop that racket, Takao! There are marines on that island!" She tried to shout over his din.

[FroYo]

"Oh...ok." Takao muttered to himself, a little ashamed that no one liked his music.

Looking ahead, he spotted an island come into view. Mishi knew this place apparently, great, they wouldn't get lost all the time. Maybe they could finally get a bigger ship and stack up on more equipment, the food was running low once more thanks to a certain someone.

"Alright, land!"

Now Mishi felt bad, mayb e he could find someone to actually... Teach him how to play an instrument.

After about too long they finally made shore, there was a large slope making its way up to one of the large hills. "Come on." She said, after tying up the boat. When they got up there, the marine building could be seen looming above on one of the larger mounds. "Okay, there's a lot of corruption on this island and marine influence is pretty much kept to there. Though, there are a few patrols every now and then. Uhm.. If we want to book a hotel, the one over there is cheapest, though really it's just a bunch of villas." She said, pointing toward the mound next to them, which was a collection of small buildings with a large building.

"Anything you guys need? There's a black market-bazaar underground, but I don't want to go in there at this time of day, when its winding down, we'd probably get attacked." She added.

Takao hopped off the boat and onto the island, he looked around and the scenery impressed him. He nodded as Mishi explained some stuff about the marines and hotel... a hotel? Would they be needing that? They usually get on an island and leave a few hours later. Maybe it'd be different this time.

"Hey, I have a question. How come you know this place so well?"

[Vaetric]

"I've stayed here once or twice, this is mostly a crime-covered area. We've got most of the important ones and the only people who even bother to patrol most of the time are the new recruits, though if you get caught then even the corrupt ones would keep you behind bars." She said, walking up the slope. "If memory serves, I think we're approaching the market, or was it the..." She mumbled to herself.

When they finally made it up there, she looked around at the village that laid out before her. it was about a hundred meters around, maybe a bit more, with loads of cows and sheep grazing around, pretty much the entire thing was a large pen, with a few farmhouses around. "Ah, we're in the meat farm. The villages here are specific to a role, as I said, anything you guys need?" She asked again.

Takao nodded as Mishi replied to his question, he followed her up the slope and once he was up it, he looked around. It looked like a farming area from the looks of things, there animals, barns and it looked like a large pen. It seemed Takao was right, it was a farm. A meant farm.

Speaking of meat, Takao and Billy needed some of that at the moment.

"I'm a little hungry. You said this was a meat farm, I'm guessing we can get some meat?" he said as he clutched his empty stomach.

[Vaetric]

"Uhm... No, here's where they farm meat, not sell or cook it." She said, glancing at the various sheep, cows chickens and other animals kept in pens within the massive pen. There was lots of grass, corn and so forth, with a stream of water running through it. "[color]There's a tourist area with a nice café, and another one in the criminal area, though it's right next to the marine HQ, so... I think I'm going to go to the tourist area.[/color]" She continued, looking up at the HQ that loomed above them. She looked quickly down as she noticed someone was actually up there, and went across one of the various bridges.

Once she reached across, she loked around before going to the nearest building. She opened the door, allowing Takao and Billy to enter as she  exited out of the back exit, there were various tables overlooking the cliff edge, or steep hill edge. She sat down and awaited for the other two to catch up, while she was waiting she took a menu.

Atop the marine building, a man stood. Or a woman. It was fairly hard to tell, really. But (going to wing it with a) he looked down at the group. "Oooho~! Visitooors!" he mused, before stepping onto the edge.

This time he was going to keep his rank as lieutenant for sure! He kept being demoted for some reason, the people who are higher ranked are usually so unfriendly to him!

Oh wait, he had to check if they had bounties, first. Or were criminals in general. He took out a bingo book and started to look through the pages.

"O-Oh, right. I clearly knew that..."

He looked around the farm, nothing looked special, it was just a farm with animals like any other farm out there. He heard Mishi as she explained there was a cafe over at the tourist area and another one in the criminal area. As she explained, Takao caught her glancing something, he turned behind him and spotted the large Marine HQ. This was bad, he was a wanted criminal now, if there were marines here that'd mean trouble.

Takao stopped looking at the building and accompanied Billy and Mishi as they went to the cafe. Once they were there, he took a seat beside Billy and went for the second menu only to find Billy's hand there.

"Takao. I got it first."
"Cheater!"
"Cheater? There was no game in the first place!"
"Billy, you're such a liar."
"L-listen, just shut up!"

The two continued to argue over the menu.

She always liked this island, Mishi let out a small smile at Takao and Billy’s antics, the tourist area always seemed to be able to put her in a good mood. Might be because she hit the jackpot there when she first visited. She looked at the menu she picked up. “Why don’t you go to another table and pick up its menu?” She asked the two of them, while analysing it.

Mishi blinked, putting down the menu. In the dinner section there was a purple-pink blob that wasn’t there moments ago, in fact she felt the impact after reading up on the breakfast part. She looked up, there was nothing there. She poked her finger into it, it was some kind of weird jelly-like substance.
 
“Would you like to order?” asked one of the waitresses, brown hair round glasses and thin build. She smiled at the three. “Uhm… Yes please. I’ll have the beef ring, please.” The waitress nodded, “And you two?”

Upon the top of the marine building a couple of moments beforehand, Toko was leering down at them, at least two of them had a bounty, the black-haired one was the most recently found. He looked at them so intensely that he didn’t even notice he set off his fruit powers and dripped some of his stuff down onto them. Darn! He can’t just jump off of the marine HQ! He ran off and down the stairs, he was going to get them and he was sure of it!

Takao smirked as he successfully snatched the menu of the annoyed Billy, he stuck out his tongue before skimming over the menu. Boring, boring, boring, bo- Oh, Roast Chicken? Takao licked his lips, the mere thought of chicken made him drool! He threw the menu towards Billy before placing his order.

"I'd like some Roast Chicken, please!~" he said with a wide smile on his face.

As soon as he ordered, he noticed some kind of jelly substance on the table beside Mishi. Was that always there?

Mishi looked at the blob on her menu, before gently sliding it away. “And Billy here will have the steak and chips, rump.” She said, no time to waste in making Takao give Billy back the menu. The waitress smiled and bowed, she gave her menu to the waitress and assumed Takao did the same. “And three waters, please!” She called out.
 
“So.. Uh.. Tomorrow we can go into the underworld.” she said, she knew how creepy it sounded and she picked a location where the marine base loomed over them, casting a shadow over half her face. She hoped her creepiness level was somewhere sevenish out of ten. They should find a hotel for the night. She remembered the bunch of villas that visitors could rent, and it had been ages since she properly slept in a house, so they were so going there.

[FroYo]

"U-U-Underworld!?" Takao called out as he fell from his seat, surprised at how creepy Mishi was suddenly looking.

What did she mean by "underworld"? Did she mean she was sending them of to hell!? Takao picked up a fork from the table and pointed it at Mishi, his hand shaking a little.

"O-O-Oi, what're you plotting!? ONIBABA!" he yelled, attracting the attention of most of the customers.

He knew something was up with Mishi, she was greedy, selfish and a monster! To think that someone like her was sailing with them all this time, it sent a shiver down Takao's spine.

(OOC: Onibaba (鬼婆) means "Demon Hag", it's also a villain from a Japanese film.)

Mishi inwardly smiled at Takao’s childish behaviour. “Jeez, chill.” She said, to wave him down with a flick of a hand. “It’s just a lawless area underground. It’s like a black market that you’d think, a physical one instead of the usual fare.” She mockingly rolled her eyes. It was funny, she felt playful today. It might just be because she’s in an island where she knows she’s safe. From both the marines and other criminals. People knew her here, and she knew them.[/color]”
 
Just after she explained, the waitress came with the water. “I hear you’re paying a trip to the underworld?” she said, smiling and putting down the glasses. “Mhm, business and maybe a little bit of pleasure. Is Haiipii still selling the caramels?” The waitress nodded, with the same closed-eyes smile. “Yep! But in all ways, enjoy the water and… The sea is a bit bluer.” She said then added, in a bit more serious tone. “Your meals should be here in a bit!” she walked off to another table.
 
Mishi looked visibly disgruntled, so much for having a peaceful time on the island.

"A-ah... I-I knew that! I was just testing you, ya know?" Takao lied as he itched the back of his head, now feeling a bit embarrassed at his stupid actions.

"Oi, your nose is growing..."
"W-What's that supposed to mean?"

Takao rolled his eyes, typical Billy. He noticed Mishi looking a bit down and disgruntled. Just a minute ago she was smirking and seemed to be enjoying her time.

"Yo, you okay?"

[Vaetric]

Mishi glanced at Takao before pointing at the barmaid. “She used a code sentence, ‘sea is getting a little bluer’ means there is a marine, or there are marines who aren’t familiar with the way the island works, either they’re too new or too zealous. I.E, if we’ve got a bounty, like you and me then we’d best be on our toes…” She looked up, the marine tower was being just that little bit more oppressive. She thought she could catch some movement, but she was distracted by a plate  being placed down in front of her.
 
“You’re lucky, we just premade these dishes!” the barmaid smiled, with her beauty spot upon her left upper cheek and tied up hair. Roast chicken for Billy and Takao, while she had a ring of beef with vegetables inside of it. “Soooo.. We’ve never actually had a straight and forward talk. Where are you from?” she asked Takao, placing a bib onto her thighs and taking a fork and knife.

From up and high yonder, the marine grinned down at them. Oh yes… They looked… Beautiful. Looked at that one’s black, cute hair… And that one’s tall, muscled MMMFMFF body… The woman didn’t look that bad either. She got so excited her nearly let out a dribble of the liquid he could turn into. For he had the Toro Toro no mi, he could turn into a jelly-like substance and explore every crevice of a person’s delicious body. He let out a shiver of anticipation.

[FroYo]

"Ah, I see. No wonder my great Detective Skills were tingling." Takao replied nodding to himself with his eyes closed.

"Your nose is getting quite long."
"Oh shaddap."

Takao leaned back on his seat, he was now a wanted criminal, was this good or bad? Sure he got his name out there in the world but it was a name of a criminal not a musician. Perhaps he should just turn himself in- Gah, nonsense. No one said you can't be a criminal musician! His train of thought was interrupted as a plate of chicken was placed in front of him. He immediately ripped off the chicken's leg and took a great bite.

"Fank youe!" he said, his mouth full of chicken.

He then swallowed the chicken and listened to Mishi's question. That was true, most of the conversations they had were pretty short and stupid. They were either running away from marines, escaping from a slave owner or beating up members from some sort of gang hidden in the shadows.

"Hm, guess you're right. I was born in the South Blue and my mother and father died while I was young. I got moved to an adoption center where I picked up my love for music though I...I wasn't very good, I was bullied, called names and was pretty much named Tone Death. Though some kind people adopted me and I moved school so everything was a-okay! Now I aim to become number one musician! TAKAO SONG, ACE MUSICIAN IN ALL OF THE LAND, REMEMBER THE NAME PEOPLE!"

Takao got a little carried away near the end and yelled that bit...

"A-Anyways, enough about me... what's your story, Mishi?"

[Vaetric]

MIshi winced as he went overboard near the end of his ‘story’. But still, despite his inability to play well he had the spirit, she guessed. Still, he was sweet she guessed, she could probably count on him to punch a guy in the face before double-crossing her. Money didn’t seem to faze him… As much, anyway. She hasn’t really seen what he’d do for money, so she should take back the last part.”I… See. Good luck with that.” She nodded, glancing around.  Eh, the rogue marine must be off somewhere else, there’s lots of crimes to try and bust maybe he’s already gotten himself killed.
 
“Oh, well. I was born to a merchant who had a penance for black market dealings, I’m not going to say his name.  I tried to win his affections by being smarter with my brother, but it turned out he just wanted to marry me off, cliché but truth in context.” she shrugged, cutting pieces off of the beef, skewering it upon some vegetables and dug in. “[color=And what about you, Bi-[/color]”

He had enough, enough! He heard it, one of them was Takao Song! He had no idea who that was but still, Bingo Book showed a picture and he was going to go get them. Jumping off of the marine building, he fell all the way down toward the restaurant… Place the criminals were obviously at, they were soooo criminals! I mean, look at them! They came over on a boat! A BOAT. And they weren’t even doing any business! Criminals.
 
He activated his logia powers and landed with a ‘splash’ next to the table M+T+B were sitting around.

Takao dozed off as Mishi explained her story and woke up as soon as she had finished talking.

"I'm sorry, what?" he asked, a little confused as to why he suddenly felt the urge to nap.

Suddenly, some sort of manlike, slimy, creature, thing landed next to their table. This caught Takao off guard and he fell from his seat, his eyes widened as he looked at the slimy man.

"I-IT'S ONIBABA!"

Mishi blinked as something splashed to the floor.

Resuming his human form apart from his legs, which stayed as jelly, the marine stood toward the two criminals and that tall guy. Pink hair! Glasses! Long hair! Mishi Hasimoh! Page twenty eight in the wanted bingo book! “Your bounties are mine!” he laughed, but he could’ve thought of something better, but hey! He was going to cash in on a million and some small change. Definitely promotion material.

“I’ve got this!” Mishi yelled, dipping her hand into her suit, and pulling out beli notes, with a glint in her eye she threw at the marine. “Bribe!” she yelled, and kicked the chair over, running toward the restaurant.

“Oooh no you don’t!” he grinned, sending a jelly-tentacle toward Takao’s leg as well as Mishi’s as she tried to run. Oh yes, was he going to have fun with them. MMM.

[FroYo]

Takao saw the tentacle shoot towards his leg and quickly leaped on top of a table, dodging it. Who the hell was this guy and what kind of ability did he have!? Billy grabbed his chair and swung it towards the slime guy.

"Get outta here, freak!" he yelled as he swung the chair.

Takao got ready to run or fight, it depended on how strong this guy was.

Yes! He nearly had them, he had to stop them from talking before…
 
“Oh, okay.”
 
He started sludge away in rejection, ever since his days at ‘that’ particular place, he had to do everything he was told. He was cursed by a hypnotist as well! Darn he wanted to get them there bodies. Is this the reason why he never gets promoted? He ignored the chair going through his body and started to walk away before noticing… He had the pink girl by her leg!
 
“Okay!” He started to move faster, dragging Mishi along with him, he pulled her inwards and trapped her in jelly, making her unable to say anything. ANYTHING! But he also had to give her air. It was great, she was inside his body, and if she had a bounty it’d go onto his record! But what if he told him to let go of her? He put his hands to his ears and started to “lalalala” to himself as he treid to make a hasty escape.

[FroYo]

"W-WHAAAAT!?" Takao and Billy both said as they saw the chair pass through the man's body as if he were nothing!

Takao then watched as the man dragged Mishi into his jelly like substance and clutched his fist with anger, he dare come here and start messing with his mates!? He was worthy of a knuckle sandwich and that was exactly what he was gonna get! Takao leaped off the table and charged towards the man, pulling back his right fist as he done. Once close enough, he was swing that fist right into the man but he was interrupted by Billy.

"You idiot! What if he absorbs you too?!"
"But Mishi-"
"Let me handle this, I don't have a bounty!"

Billy made a run towards the man who was singing to himself and attempted to shoot both of his fists onto the man's face.

“Brghghhgl!” Mishi held her throat she was running out of air, she got caught and now she was inside some freak’s body of jelly! She could barely see from the man’s body, he was large enough to contain a fully grown human, albeit female. He was all swollen, though Mishi could near-clearly see what was going on outside, though with a purple haze. Suddenly, she felt herself elevate quickly as she started to get desperate with air.

The marine looked around, fingers still in ears, turning around he saw one of the guys punch toward him, the one with the not-bounty, there was no point to trying to attack him! However, he knew how to use his devil fruit, oh no.. He wasn’t going to just contain him within his body, he was going to use the one he already got, then he can charge her for civilian assault as well! Yes! Perfect!

Utilising his devil fruit powers, he rose the criminal known as Mishi Hasimoh up, he could have the guy punch her in the face, but that wouldn’t be fun… “Heheheh!” he laughed, rising Mishi upwards so instead of punching him in the face, Billy would punch her… Bosom. The fiend! The evil, evil man! The perv!

Should that be so successful, he would contract himself, causing an oxygen-starved Mishi to launch in the air, allowing her to gain a lungful of precious air before catching her with a tentacle and bringing her back into his body, albeit with a leg sticking out, hopefully that aforementioned leg would be able to hit Billy with Mishi’s leg! Wait, who’s side is the author of this on?
