It was another day out in the open, another day as a fugitive, allthough she had never been liked by many people, and was hunted by many aswell, having a bounty on her head was new for Maryn, new but mostly very exciting, the thought that people would come after her, with the hope to slay her and then minutes later kneel before her begging for mercy, saying they were wrong, hoping to not be slayed by her. She liked things like that, she liked when people where shown that they were wrong, as in they should have bown to her from the start. The more wanted she is, the more she is recognized as a true force, the more people want her dead, the happier she is. That is how much of a twisted woman Maryn Soll is.

It had been a few days since she got seperated from her crew, mostly missing Miko but she knew that Miko would be fine, and would sail all seas for Maryn to find her again. It was quite weird when the ship transporting them to prison had been seized by pirates, and before they knew it the pirates were controlled by maryn, who had granted them such happy feelings using her powers that they dropped her off on the next island with all pleasure. Her crew had escaped using their own ways, and for now Maryn knew she should focus on getting some new people together, and creating a bigger name for herself, the bigger her name the more havoc she could cause.

Three hours earlier

While grinning somewhat evily she walked through the streets of the city she had landed in and spend some time in, To her suprise she noticed that this town were quite focused on religion, and Maryn would not be Maryn if she wouldn't toy with this. Off she was towards the middle of the town, where a big cathedral stood. golden roofs. giant statues and a big fountain infront of it. It was ginormous bigger then various castles and quite impressing. Slithering towards the church she had a briliant idea, she was going to become a nun, for a while.

As Maryn passed by an old woman dressed in black she greeted her '' From another chappel I come, a nun I want to be here'' She told the woman who looked suprised at her garb, and way of speech, though the church would not send away a single soul devoted to god. '' Welcome young lady, you must come from far, I shall take you to the chambers and get you some more usual garb. It's not every day we see someone dressed like you, are your clothes usual to your chappel'' the woman asked her, as Maryn simply nodded, her plan was going to perfection already

Following the old lady maryn giggled a bit as she turned her fingers a bit and created a small ghost with it, sending it into the womans body she suddenly looked a bit suprised and continued walking, though her face had changed a little, the first so serious looking old woman was now looking for adventure, she stared walking way less strictly and lead the way full of jollyness. Once entering the nun chambers she greeted everyone like never before. '' Hellooo, this new ladyyy is joining us, please be excelent to her'' the old nun said almost singingly, looking up on her with suprise the other nuns had no idea what was going on.

As maryn was lead to her chambers she was suprised about the tinyness of her room, how could such a big church have such small rooms for their nuns, it was almost worse then the boat they had been transported on. Trying to not complain she put her stuff down and went out of her way to create a few more ghosts. All making the nuns in this chappel as jolly as they could. Not leaving a single one to care much about their old beliefs as they enthousiasticly ran around town greeting people.

Now

Already having left her chambers for a while, Maryn looked for other people in the church and town to fool with, but she had no idea what, dressed in her ugly nun garbs she relaxed infront of the fountains as she saw nuns walking around happily being frowned up on by the citiziens of the town walking by, she heard whispers everywhere, about how the nuns looked drunk, and were acting differently. no one had an idea what was going on, but Maryn, who had been setting this up, and oh what was she enjoying herself. And things were only supposed to get so much better.

The Previous Night

The stars had been bright and beautiful, the moon full and the streets quiet. Which was just perfect for the plans ahead. With a gentle breeze blowing and the oh so sweet sounds of silence the night that had settled in was a generous one. With more than enough light provided & the right amount of witnesses around. None.

The town's folk hadn't recognised him without his gear on and now that it was night and only a few fair faces were about the great thing about them was, they never had any common sense to look up. No one ever does. In the years spent ambushing people one after another he'd learnt allot about people.

Far off in the distance the sound of beating horse hooves could be heard. They were on the way. Stretching his mouth into a smile whilst holding the cigarette between his lips still the Arctic Demon sat atop a church steeple ready and waiting. Hidden in the dark standing beside the crucifix on top he held on tightly with one hand. The situation would only be better if he had his swords, but one would make do without such tools.

The bandit attire consisted of a brown leather mask that covered up his entire head with straps reaching under the chin and around the neck. some lesser leather armour around the arms which looked like a leather strap someone had wrapped around dozens of times, a rock hard shoulder pad on his right shoulder. Over the torso it was covered in an old white shirt and grey waistcoat along with more leather plated armour which covered up most of his clothing beneath. Over his legs there were more armour plates. Made from leather, both sections of his legs were covered individually. Then over his feet boots made from bear fur.

As the horses neighed the carriage owner stopped just below.

They're here.

Running and diving from the steeple the Arctic Demon leapt from the tower diving down into the large stack of hay below. The exhilaration of the drop excited the demon in the suit. The sudden sound of something beside the carriage as the driver got down caught their attention.

Flames burst out from the stack of hay. Shaken a little by this display the man stepped back and heard the horses begin to neigh sounding troubled.

"Easy girl. Easy. Its ok. Its ok." the man said as he tried to keep his horses calm.

Rising from the flames which begun to spread was a silhouette. Looking ready for war the figure approached the carriage.

"That's right, calm those beauts down. Don't want my new friends getting all worried and running off."

"What the devil do you mean you're friends?!"

The owner blurted out as he approached the Arctic Demon. Looking over the figure's attire he spotted the shoulder plate, the mask and the boots and begun to shiver.

"You. You're that, that."

"That's right. The Arctic Demon in the flesh. Now move aside so I can be on my way."

"GUARDS!"

From the demons' cigaretteless mouth a sigh escaped.

"Big mistake."

Rushing from the carriage a group of four men arrived surrounding the Arctic Demon.

Rushing into greet him with a sword in each hand the first guard attempted to swing both blades or his neck trying to cleave the Demon's head clean off. Leaning backwards and landing on the ground with his back as his foot shot up to kick the guard in the groin both swords were dropped in shock as they sliced through thin air. Looking up the demon grabbed both swords one in each hand as they rushed toward him.

Performing the same strike the guard had tried only this time on the guard's midriff blood spurted out and the soldier stumbled backwards screaming in agony. Leaping up on to his feet the demon was now armed.

Hearing the battle cry from behind him of a soldier with a mace who had raised it above his head, the demon's blade quickly shot backwards plunging itself through the soldier's stomach. Twisting the blade once inside the soldier howled in pain. Pulling the blade out the demon turned around to see the next soldier heading his way.

Sweeping his sword downwards towards the demon, the blade was avoided by a swift side step to the right. Another sword came crashing down from the right straight after and this was avoided by a simple side step to the left. Drawing one of his blades down to cleave his head off as he was in the crouching position picking up his sword another man fallen.

Spinning around to face the last man standing and sweeping his free blade through the other soldier's neck who'd been impaled his head rolled and by the time the demon looked into the eyes of the final guard he could see the fear in his eyes.

Stepping closer slowly with a smile on his face, the demon placed one of the newly acquired swords into his sheath and used his other sword to slice the soldier's carotid artery. Hitting the floor crying the demon sheathed his sword and approached the owner.

"Thanks for the ride. I'll see you around."

Climbing aboard and cracking the horses whips the carriage sped out of the two men's lives and into the darkness.

Present Day

In the light of day Genzo Noroi had been searching the carriage and newly acquired home he'd collected the night before. He thought that it was the transportation of the Ieti and after throwing out several crates of nasty old fruit, uniforms & weaponry he found himself sitting out back disappointed puffing away on a cigarette.

"Dammnit!" he muttered as he exhaled.

Removing a map of the sword's routes he attempted to track it on the map only to come to the conclusion that he'd lost track of the bloody thing after Hedge Drop Island. If that was the case then he'd have to do allot of back tracking which he really wasn't up for.

Standing up and folding the paper up he popped it into his pocket. Placing his sheath on with the two swords, Genzo was no longer wearing his bandit gear. Instead he chose to keep it in a small bag he'd carry on his back.

The night he'd spent sleeping in the carriage had been one of the best night's sleep he'd had in a while and it wasn't one he'd want to forget. Making sure the carriage was safely stored away and the horses tied up firmly he made his way from the alleyway into the streets.

It was time he found out if he was in the wrong place to see the Ieti or not.

Serious: Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Empty Re: Serious: Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Post by Serious? Tue Nov 11, 2014 4:04 pm

Silently sat a lady in regal clothing at an oak table, surrounded by shelves upon shelves of books, while surrounded in her own stack of literature. Sounds of pages turning, footsteps, and the occasional cough broke the silence of this town's quaint, little library. This lady had been here for a day or two prior, but uncharacteristically kept her psyche in check ever since she got onto the island. There had been no violent outbursts, no visits to the local cemetery, nothing that really defined her as what she truly is. All that she felt was inside of her was emptiness, a colorless void of confusion and the slight tang of despair. It certainly was no glamorous feeling to have, yet after past events leading up to a supposed escape from prison, Miko could not remember what became of the rest of her former crewmates.

Yotokasa missed her dear queen more than ever; it felt as if a part of her had just up and left her body, like her soul was missing and, for once, the "ghosts" that haunted her have gone quiet.

Is this what being normal feels like? She idly wondered. For years, she had lived with constant noise surrounding her, but now that she experienced silence again after how many years, it was unbearable. She could even feel her sanity becoming stronger every second! Miko swiftly put the book down and left the silence of the literature archives and back into the humble town. She massaged her temples and readjusted her cloak before wandering off to recollect her train-wreck of thoughts. The one anomaly that stuck out at her the most was the slow disappearance of her inner monologues.

They're usually the loudest whenever everything else is quiet Yotokasa pondered, Maybe it's linked to my dear, sweet queen? It seemed rather logical to her, after all, Maryn Soll was quite infamous for using her manipulation of spectral beings for her own purposes; it wasn't far-fetched for Miko to think otherwise (not including her state of mind). Eventually, she found herself to be back where she was, the library. Not wanting to pursue future headaches, she simply walked by for more internal monologues.

Not many people paid attention to her, but they also weren't avoiding her attention either. Currently, she lacked a presence to be presented; but it wasn't like she didn't want to go up to the nearest person and mug him, she just lacked a spur to keep her going. She felt utterly confused on what to do with her life from thereon. Her stomach interrupted her thoughts and immediately brought to her attention a more pressing matter: The act of ingesting edible substances combined with other edible substances to form something everyone calls a meal. In short, she was hungry. Not knowing exactly what time it was, seeing as she spent most of the day reading, she casually strolled up to a random bystander and asked for the time.

"Hey, bud, you got the time?" Miko asked rather nonchalantly.

The man gazed up at the sky for a brief moment before turning his attention back to her. "I'd say maybe quarter after."

"Quarter after what?"

He gazed back up at the sky again. "No idea."

"Great. Great help."

"Just hold on one sec," he interjected before walking a few paces to talk to another fellow possibly about the time. "S'about quarter after one."

With that, Miko left without giving a thanks and left to go eat, then realized she didn't have much money for anything, seeing as she didn't really work since she arrived. Utterly disappointed, Miko just roamed around without much left to do. When she roamed, she began to notice things that she hadn't before, like the fact that there were nuns here. Who knew? Miko crashed into one, well, the nun crashed into her, causing the purple-clad lady to curse profusely, spew death threats and overall make a scene. The nun was scared off and Miko just shook her fist at her passive-aggressively. One thing she noticed was that the nun left in a rather tipsy manner. Aren't nuns supposed to be against drinking and shit? Yotokasa idly wondered.

To solidify her thoughts, her talented ears caught wind of several conversations, some subtle some not, regarding the nuns and how they looked drunk. She smirked and chuckled to herself, thinking about the head of the nuns being absolutely piss drunk and introducing illegal contraband to her fellow sisters. THAT was a Sunday church Miko would attend, that was for certain.

Ínsanity was one thing, a town slowly bursting another, nuns were supposed to be those serving the town and the towns religion. but they filled the streets being loud, and as jolly as a nun could be. maryn wondered if she could put a few nuns to feel agressive, and start fights in town, she loved the sounds of gossip going around, drunk nuns, big problems. as a few nuns passed maryn by, she quickly send out some ghosts turning those nuns vulgar and agressive. She would sit here just a bit longer, though these nun clothes wouldn't be save for much longer, standing up as she saw small brawls with nuns start in the distance she couldn't help but laugh, though no one was suprised by seeing a weird nun anymore.

Getting in the empty chappels she quickly grabbed her belongings, and got changed, she then used a torch to lit them ablaze, hopefully other things would be catched with it.

Maryn loved toying with people. toying to the level of turning people against each other and insane. her big smile was from ear to ear as she walked through town seeing things go from bad to worse, it would not be long till the nuns started plundering and not much later that the people of the city would revolt. what about the towns bischop by the way? maybe she should visit him. itching her cheek she wondered what to do. how could she toy with more people. explosions, no it was too early for exposions. she sighed and yelled out loud '' hard this is'' as she continued her way through the streets filled with disaster.

Marching into a large armoury store with weapons hanging from all the walls positioned like little trophies he was certain a man who treated weapons with such decency would know a thing or two about cursed blades such as the Ieti. He also wanted to get his hands on his previous swords or the bandit who'd stolen them from him.

Entering through the western saloon type doors, Genzo quickly felt like a child in a candy store. He wanted one of everything, but he wasn't about to take them if he couldn't carry or use them all. Looking towards the owner who sat on a wooden stool with a book covering his face Genzo peered over the front cover.

"When our eyes met" was the title of the book. Rolling his eyes Genzo muttered quietly.

"Soppy git!"

Guy was reading a timeless tale about love. Genzo wasn't the type who cared about that type of stuff and anyone who did needed to get a life. Making his way over the creaking floorboards he slammed his hand down on the desk and coughed to grab the owner's attention from the disgusting filth that was a timeless tale.

Lowering the book and looking over the top the owner could see Genzo's determination in finding the right blade. Placing the book face down and keeping it open on the page he was reading through he asked. "Yes sir?"

"I'm looking for a blade."

Looking at the walls which were covered in walls then back towards Genzo the owner replied.

"I gathered that much."

"Not one of these blades. I'm looking for a cursed sword. The Ieti, I was wondering if you knew where it was currently. I'd heard it would be coming through this town."

"It's meant to be coming through here today, I think. But you know that its not for sale right?"

"That's alright, I'm skint anyway." Genzo replied as he places a cigarette between his lips and lit it quickly.

"Right." the owner replied to which he watched Genzo make his exit from the shop and into the streets. He was a weird fellow and felt maybe it was an idea to mention this new found information about a desire for the blade and no beli to buy it with.

More gossip of the nuns breaking all of their vows and rules were spreading like wildfire, according to Yotokasa no Miko and her tuned hearing. Even though she didn't bother to focus on listening to most of the conversations, she still caught the word 'nun' more than enough times to figure out that these nuns were starting to become problematic for them. Not really much of a problem for her, really. If she joined, she'd probably get kicked out or excommunicated for blasphemy or some stupid thing like that. To her, Gods and Deities were nothing more than glorified stories given a face or body and deserved little praise for their so-called actions. Even she could write a book involving her saving the world by tossing a mountain into the sun, but that would come off as stupid; But when some dude from eons ago writes it, it's absolutely fantastic. What a load of bullshit. Miko thought angrily.

Suddenly, out of the corner of her eye, she thought she saw a glimpse of a ghost swerve around a building! Miko blinked in utter surprise before quickly hustling over to where she last saw the apparition. She peered around the corner of the building and saw nothing that resembled a floating thing passing through bodies. She felt nothing else but sheer, utter disappointment after seeing that lackluster sight. As she casually strolled down the roads, she idly wondered if the brief glimpse she saw was actually a ghost or a figment of her dulling imagination. No one else seemed to notice it at all, or had any reactions to a spectre floating around aimlessly so it was highly likely that what she saw was simply her brain praying that Maryn was still around (and alive).

Miko sulked in her depression and anger for a while until she ran into one of these said problematic nuns. One slight bump into her and she goes off on a whole drunken rant about something so inconsequential. The caped lady did not want to listen to any of her rambling and decided to just leave her alone after giving her a nice slap in the face. Before she could do that, the nun delivered a laughably weak punch to Miko's face. Her rage grew three sizes that day, and it caused her to throw back one devastatingly powerful punches, one that knocked the poor nun clean off her feet and out like a candle. She contemplated punching her some more while she was knocked out, but Miko didn't feel like it was worth getting her hands dirty for it. So she just kicked the nun and went on her way.

However, she found it rather strange as to why these so-called nuns were off drinking and starting fights when they should be doing the complete opposite.

"It just doesn't make sense!" Miko shouted out loud. Her stomach growled again and she realized what she had done and how to exploit it. The caped lady ran back to the knocked out nun and began checking her entire body for any money of some sort. Nothing. Not even a single bill, Miko thought glumly. You'd think they'd have money on them to buy this booze but nope, they're flat broke.

In utter minutes the town was in uproar, as the bischops and authority in town had no idea what was going on overhere, ringing the bells of church for a few minutes they wanted to let everyone know something was going on, but what, violence against nuns was extremely prohibited, but now, now well it was the only choice to keep peace in town. Soon the town was filled with rifle and gun wielding guards.

It wasn't too long before rumours filled the chaotic town. '' have you heard, they say the nuns have been haunted by dead priests from the cripts'' one would say, '' the crypts are only filled with bandits and spiders now a days'' the rumours quickly filled town. and it would be only moments before they'd reach everyone in town, including maryn, Miko and even Genzo.

Quietly sitting by the fountain as a lot of nuns were getting themself in trouble maryn overheard this too, so they are blaming it on the crypts, that was worth to go to then. she smiled and walked over to the crypt,

seeing that a lot of people had already gathered in front and people were looking for volunteers to go in what was going on, no one had an idea, Maryn did but she loved how everyone was panicking, her scheme was more then perfect, and if bandits were in there, that be more people to use, she thought smiling, '' Volunteer I will'' her voice said, getting over the crowd, waiting to see if any other people would join her. she needed some other volunteers/ victims.

As Genzo left the shop with a little less information than he'd gone in with he smiled. He now knew a little more about the Ieti and where it was going to be. He was quickly snapped into the chaos that was ensuing all around him. Words of hauntings & terrified nuns filled the air. Genzo raised an eyebrow confused & a little curious as to what the hell was exactly going on in this town.

The sound of metal clanking against metal sent Genzo into defensive mode and as the guards sprinted around the corner and in his general direction, Genzo had quickly thrown on his Arctic Bandit attire. Standing dressed up in his criminal persona he removed his sword quickly and sliced the right thigh of one of the two soldiers.

Quickly the one with the sliced thigh hit the ground shocked and the sudden surprise at the pain in his leg sent him down. Digging the blade through the neck of the other he begun to cough & splutter and this is when Genzo realized these two soldiers hadn't been coming for him.

Shit!

Removing the blade he knew he had to end the misery of the other man and dug the blade through his eye and twisted severing his retinas, irises & various other biological components of the eye.

Sheathing his blade he removed one of the soldier's and slid it into his other sheath. They weren't the swords he wanted, but they were better than nothing. Two swords were still two swords. It'd just be better if they were the ones he wanted. Walking from the corpses with a blade on either side Genzo needed to make it back to his wagon. At least there he could hide out or even head on out just outside of town. This place was quickly becoming too crazy for him and he could've very well just possibly thrown himself up shit creek.

Justice Perk

Jack took a long drag off his cigarette, glancing around the street. Nuns. Drunk Nuns. Now that, that was not something that you saw every day. Still, it wasn't anything illegal. Amoral and unethical, maybe, but not illegal. As far as he knew, at any rate. Besides, he wasn't about to stoop so low as to start arresting Nuns for being bad at their jobs, even if it did turn out to be a crime in this town. Frankly, there wasn't much really going on here worth his time. Something about hauntings and old tombs or something like that, and that was not Jack's problem. What Jack was interested in were the bodies. Apparently, a few men were found dead. That was murder, which meant there would be a nice little reward for whoever caught the culprit.

Problem was, that was easier said than done. With the way this town was, people would probably blame it on some superstition. Hell, maybe a Nun did it. Ha, that'd be funny.  "Probably just wasting my time around this place." Jack muttered to himself as he dropped his cigarette, stomping it out with the toe of his boot. He might was well just ship off and find a place where he could actually make a little cash. Bullets didn't grow on trees, after all. If they did, Jack would want one. The bounty hunter gave a bored yawn as he pushed himself off the wall he'd been resting on, and started down the street. Time to blow this lollipop stand.

The sound of bells ringing barely earned any of Jack's attention. Probably some impromptu mass or something to pray over all the crazy things happening. The sudden appearance of armed guards, however, had his full and undivided interest. Where there were lawmen with guns, there was a bit of money to be made. Maybe this trip hadn't been for nothing after all. He spun around on his heel, following after the multitude of armed men. Some went down side streets to the left or right, but Jack stuck with the people going straight down the road, wondering what all the commotion was about. He started to look around, wondering if it was some bandit attack, or if the Nuns had secretly been a death cult and were just now putting their sinister plans into motion. ...That'd be a pretty good plot for a book, actually.

As he scanned the area, something caught his eye. Two of the men who'd turned down a different street seemed to pause for just a moment. Jack tried to listen, but with all the men running around, it was hard to make much out. Still, something about it seemed wrong, and Jack knew that sometimes, it was best to follow a hunch. He drew his twin revolvers, and started down the alleyway. "Time to go to work, ladies." he muttered, peeking his head around the corner. Two dead officers of the law? Check. A guy wearing some sinister looking duds? Check. Armed bounty hunter ready to jump at the opportunity to make a little extra cash? Check.

His first instinct was to just shoot the guy. But then again, from the back, Jack couldn't really tell who he was. Plus, shooting might set the townsfolk off even more. Nah, it was probably in his best interest to try and take this one alive. Jack stepped out from the alleyway, raising Rebecca, calmly cocking back the hammer to inform his new found 'friend' of his arrival. "Don't do nothin' stupid now, partner." he warned. He wasn't sure why. They always tried to do something stupid, no matter what he said. "Hands above your head, nice an' slow like. You're under arrest for two accounts of murder." Jack waited, his finger delicately brushing against the trigger. Was this going to be the one who wasn't stupid? Hey, in a town full of drunk nuns, the criminals could be the smart ones.

Not long after, people were getting into scuffles with nuns all over the place, and it was getting pretty heated throughout the entire town. People were quickly vacating the open air and retreating into buildings like taverns and their own homes for their own safety. The streets were getting pretty empty, but there were definitely still a good handful of people at every corner's turn, no more though. Miko honestly was wondering what the hell was going on in this godforsaken hamlet of a town in the first place. Nuns starting drunken fistfights in the middle of the streets, and now, even more recently, the nuns being possessed by some dead priests or some other asinine reason. Nonetheless, belief in the supernatural was rampant in Miko, so she bought the story hook, line, and sinker.

After a few walkabouts, the caped lady noticed a change in the atmosphere. Armed men and women were now patrolling the streets, probably on a lookout for any nuns itching to start some fights. Looks like the leaders here aren't incompetent. Miko thought smugly to herself. She was somewhat relieved that the government that runs this place wasn't absolutely stupid enough to let nuns fight everywhere, but she still had the slightest hope that she could punch another nun in the face; mug that woman for her money, if she even has any at all (which was highly unlikely).

Her fifth or so walkabout around town was interrupted when she noticed a gathering around what seemed to be the town's crypt. Miko thought why, and immediately used her powers of Basic Logic to conclude that the crowd clustered around the crypt is related to the rumour of the nuns being possessed by dead priests. Ace Detective over here. She thought joyfully to herself. She casually wandered over to the crowd only to see the backs and very, very slightly the very front. Curse her short stature! Jumping only got her glimpses of what on Earth was going on, and people didn't seem like they were willing to move aside for this petite lady. Just as Miko was about to leave, she heard an unusually familiar voice call out in an unusually familiar speech pattern.

Her heart skipped a beat that very moment, her mind started to become cluttered with noises and voices, and her hand raised instinctively, as if blindly following a master willingly.

"I will, too!" She blurted out uncontrollably.

Overview:

Maryn and Miko are at the north east of town at the crypts.

Genzo is wandering the town after killing someone

Jack is on genzos trail of murder

Jack:

Seeing a man watch around the dead bodys, didn't scare any of the nuns at all, their jovial behaviour had not ceased yet and decided to flirt with the overly dangerous looking guy next to a body, '' are we going to end up like them. hotty?'' one nun asked trying to flirt with jack, hopefully getting them out of the comfort zone, leaving the other two nuns to giggle. Following him around they would probably be a big hinder to jack who tried to be silent and wandering around.

Genzo

On the way to his wagon, the streets would become more silent, peacekeepers wearing maces, or weapons were walking around staring at genzo. and his big swords, people with weapons were usualy not tolerated in this town but nuns were a bigger problem at the moment, their duty was to seize every one of the disbehaving one, and keep the town from plunging into chaos. '' You there, you should not try and use those weapons here in town. we know there is a little nun problem but violence will still not be tolerated'' A overly bulky guard with a double chin yelled at genzo. too lazy to walk over or leave his route.

Maryn and Miko.

'' Too will you?'' Maryn answered hearing a familair voice, followed by '' miko miko miko'' jumping up in the air she ran over to miko and grabbed her by the hand and pulled her in to the crypts '' go then we will'' she said excusing herself as she quickly entered leaving a whole lot of confusing people behind, once inside the rooms were lit by a few small torches, and guarded by bandits.

'' What are you scrubs doing here, get outta here''  one of the guarding bandits yelled.

'' Outa here get you, reuniting with a friend am i'' Maryn said, as she quickly snapped her finger to create two ghosts the size of a small chair. '' who then moved to the bandits making them turn pale and run off down to warn their friends.

Meanwhile Maryn was way more busy staring at miko and poking her to check if she was real '' really really are you miko?'' she asked very excitedly missing her and glad she was alive. she smiled from ear to ear as she heard noises come from downstairs, wondering what their reaction was to the two big ghosts hovering in the room, and miko there to protect her she remained calm and decided that miko or the ghosts could have fun with the few underlings laughing at the guards who literally had seen a ghost.

Hearing the voice of a man telling him he was under arrest and not to try anything stupid the Arctic Bandit known as Genzo turned to see the man who was armed with guns. Smirking beneath the mask he realized that he'd been seen in the act. Oh well at least nobody knew it was him.

As the skilled artful swordsman he knew he could handle himself. Continuing his walk towards his wagon he ignored the man's orders. He didn't much care for following rules, especially when they were the type to lock him up. Hearing a second voice calling out to him telling him how he shouldn't dare use his swords Genzo allowed his eyes to flicker over towards the person who had mentioned such a thing.

Smiling to himself he allowed the death's of the guards to stay behind him and forgot about them almost instantly. Walking past a large building with scaffolding reaching up the side of it Genzo removed one of his swords and quickly slashed through two of the struts.

As they broke the scaffolding came crashing down covering the entire street making a mess and a barricade. TO climb it would be difficult due to the parts moving as one climbed it. As the debris was scattered all along the path Genzo picked up the pace and started to run.

Sliding over the back of a horse in the way and sprinting down an alleyway to the right, Genzo quickly vanished into the darkness of a basement in the middle of the alleyway. Busting the door open and slamming it shut behind him, Genzo quickly drew curtains across the door's window.

Great. I have a bounty hunter on my ass now. he thought to himself. Grabbing a chair and placing it beneath the handle to keep the door shut Genzo made his way over towards the other side of the room where he inspected the crates that were stacked against the wall. Popping a cigarette between his lips and lighting it he grinned.

These crates would be a life saver for him.

Miko was absolutely dumbfounded, yet exuberant at the fact that Maryn was alive and well. Her legs nearly turned to jelly when her beloved queen grasped her hand firmly and pulled her after her. It took almost all of Miko's willpower to resist having a heart attack on the spot and keep pressing on. The amount of joy she felt right now was 100% indescribable when she saw Maryn take care of those measly bandits with just the lift of a pinky.

Next thing Miko knew was that they were standing together in the catacombs of the town, with Maryn poking her cheek as is to see if what she saw was more than just an illusion. Both of them smiled ear to ear at each other, finally able to bask in a reunion that has long since been delayed. Miko herself couldn't help but shed a few tears of joy herself. Then, she went on one knee and lowered her head.

"I...I'm so happy we can see each other again!" Miko blurted out as she stood right back up, "I promise not to let anything break the crew apart ever again! Well, you still are running the crew, right, my queen?"

No more worries from now on, no more fear; blessed be the salvation of the earth, the matriarch, Queen Maryn is here.

"Also," Miko tacked on rather abruptly, "Are we actually going to get rid of these bandits or are we enjoying your presence, my queen?"

Genzo

While hiding in the alyeway the town was filled with noises guards were heard running around. Yelling gun shots all filled the air. Would genzo be able to resist coming out. Would genzo be able to whistand the scares that would build up in the room. If he got out guards would spot him but not attack at sight but why would someone hide like that would be a wonder.

Meanwhile at the door. A young woman was knocking " hey. Anyone there. Why wont this door open" the young woman yelled as the knocking continued knowing for sure she left the door open

Maryn and miko

After having poked miko her cheek for a good few times she stopped realising the person in front of her was really miko. Her lost friend miko. Smiling at the awesoke reunion she listened closely to miko apologizing saying that she would never let the crew fall appart again if there still was a crew. Nodding maryn smiled. " ofcourse miko forgiven you are. New members we need only" she answered As they were interupted by bandits

When miko asked if they were going to fight maryn shook her head and smiled evily. As she exploded the two big ghosts where the bandits came from making part of the roof collapse on the bandits. " dont let them get away. " one of them yelled. " call the leader he will slice them in half in one slash with that new sword" another yelled as maryn hold mikos hand and pulled her away running into the town. On her way to the docks.  " some more fun lets make" maryn said as she randomly ran around town knowing the group of bandits soon would come out of hiding throwing the country in even an bigger chaos.

Standing at the far end Genzo could hear banging on the door and turned to face it. He felt a twinge of anger in him as she would be giving away his location. Making his way towards the door he ducked down and peered through the keyhole.

From what he could tell she wasn't the bounty hunter in disguise. Drawing back the curtain and staring her down as she asked if anyone was in there he unlocked the door and stepped back allowing her to enter.

He hated bowing to other people's wills. But he wasn't a bastard who'd let a poor woman suffer at the hands of the chaos going on out there in the streets if it meant giving away his location to a bounty hunter.

Gesturing for her to enter the room Genzo watched the woman carefully. He didn't want to make any sudden movements and frighten her. As he sat down on the chair he'd used to block the door he spoke calmly.

"Are you the owner of this place?" he knew that she had every right to point him out to the bounty hunter and the Marines and he wasn't about to fall into their hands so easily. "I'm just looking for somewhere to hide out, until the courier transporting the Ieti comes on by. Then I'll be gone."

Even better! Queen Maryn was starting the crew back up again with some fresh members to rule the seas once again! That was good for Miko, cause now she's got the ghosts in her head back to back her up, and she now has purpose to her life once again! For a few days there, she thought she was gonna just give up on life and take the easy way out of this. Ah, she could find the secret to immortality some other time when she was dead, but now she can do it when she's alive! Hooray!

The caped lady was a little confused when Maryn shook her head when asked if they were fighting the bandits (God knows why), she did not question her choice. Despite both of them being far more capable of wrecking all their butts and turning them into subservient servants, they were pulling the ol' Plan C tactic: Run. Miko was pulled by the hand and she gladly followed her one, true mistress once again. Oh, the nostalgia came flooding back rather lopsidedly. Her thoughts were all jumbled up, stuff that didn't happen happened in those memories, and the order of events wasn't even anything resembling an actual story.

Soon enough, the two ladies were rushing their way out of the catacombs, through the graveyard, past the crowd at the entrance and towards the docks, or something like that. While Miko didn't really want to speak out against Queen Maryn's decision to bolt, she really, really wanted to cut someone up really badly. It was a desire, a ravenous urge lurking inside her heart, slowly creeping into the front of her mind! But in the end, she spoke out anyways, choosing her wording very carefully.

"My queen, why do we run instead of fight? Both of us could easily tear each bandit a new one in a matter of minutes!"

Maryn and Miko

Seeing the confusion in Miko her eyes Maryn giggled and smiled, She knew Miko was dying to cut up a few bandits or two, but Maryn her plan was plunge a whole town into chaos, make people go completely crazy and then go out with a boom, or a bang. or both

definatley both.

Looking back towards Miko behind her she smiled '' The town destroy they will, Once us they can not find'' she said as she quickly hopped through town followed by a few of the bandits, this was turning into a big big chase.

While running around, Maryn send two ghosts into nearby buildings and made them explode raining rubble down onto the bandits and making dust blow up in the streets, the explosions would alarm the guards but that was all part of the plan.

Genzo

As the lady was let in she thanked the man, before looking at her purse she wanted to use to punch the man but shook her head instead, '' Fine but don't make any noise'' she said, glad the man did let her in. As she walked to the kitchen, a loud bang was heard as rubble came falling down from the ceiling and the wall of her house was raining onto the streets, seeing a group of bandits running through town she yelled '' Bandits, not again'' as the building slowly was collapsing and she sped for her way out.

Watching the woman enter gingerly Genzo agreed to her terms of silence. He preferred it that way. Feeling a slight urge to spark up he started to fidget with the matches in his pocket until he saw the roof begin to fall along with the wall and it rain out on to the paving. After diving to his right and rolling into a ball he got up to see the gaping hole and bandits running past.

Making his way out before the entire building collapsed on top of him, Genzo started thinking to himself. This town's gone nuts.

He watched the bandits run past him and recognized the insignia printed on the back of one of them who'd run past him. He'd seen it before tattooed on to the chest of the guy who'd beaten him with this peculiar three sword style.

Reaching for one of his two swords he quickly started to give chase after the men. He wanted revenge and he would have it after these guys told him where to find their leader.

Maybe it was part of the plan? Maybe? Perhaps? Probably? Miko had no clue what to think of it, but if that was her queen's command, then by the gods she'll follow it to the very end. So, they'll destroy the town once they can't find the two of them? Okay, but where were they going to hide? She still had no idea what was going on in Queen Maryn's head, seeing as her explanation was awfully vague, but it looks like Maryn will be the one doing most of the town destroying if she keeps her ghost bombs going off like that.

This chase was getting a little hectic, seeing how many bandits were chasing the two of them. Hah, like some lowly bandits could catch up with a girl with a cape and a lady with ghost bomb powers! And they were both pretty fast runners to boot. Hopefully, this amount of excitement lasts until Miko finally gets to taste blood on her sword.

soon very soon everything escalated .maryn and mikk were running as the town was falling appart miko wanted to cut up people and maryn knew she couldn't restrain herself much longer smiling evily once again she stopped "okay enjoy, miko" maryn said smiling as she moved her fingers and created 6 ghosts three making people very angry and the others making them very emotional  the ghosts quickly made their way through the bandits making them stop in pace .one ghost making people emotional spotted genzo and made his way towards him trying to manipulate genzos emotions .

Maryn grabbed Miko and walked closer to the bandits joining into the group of bandits she smilingly started to yell stuff " your lying is leader to you" she said knowing she said something confusing .she wasnt good at saying stuff to provoke them but she liked too .she insulted bandits affected by her ghosts .and soon the streets were getting filled with guards coming from where they were heading in the firstplace the bandits were busy fighting among theirselves .and they left through the group of bandits meeting genzo on the way . who was about to attacked by a ghost .maryn looked at the sword carying man and smiled ." if her stronger are then.you ill not make you sad and and and join us you can" he said .knowig shed finally found a challenge for miko because he didn't look like a normal bandit .she smiled at miko as the ghost was still making circles around genzo .

for now they had no idea the bandit leader was on their way .

Giving chase Genzo wasn't sure what was happening as the streets seemed to suddenly be filled with an incredible number of people a large number of whom were men of authority. Wielding their own weaponry Genzo clutched his own tighter preparing for a proper fight.
Catching sight of these small odd orbs which Genzo was pretty sure were what others might refer to as ghosts Genzo slowed down his pace and started to catch sight of two individuals up ahead.

One being a young looking girl with a fancy looking sword the other seemed a little more different. She seemed to be in control of the strange incidents going on around somehow. Holding a blade in each hand and moving closer he started to watch the ghost circle him and gulped. He wasn't quite so sure what was going on anymore.

All he did know was the cart delivering the Ieti to the next town was making its way through the town. Making its way into the town that chaos seemed to be falling into Genzo looked towards the high street just hoping he could make his way there and get his hands on that beauty of a blade.

Something unnerved Genzo about the little girl with the fancy looking sword and the fact that the ghost circled him instead of fly through him like the others did to the bandits and various other people. He could hear the sounds of screaming shouting & war tearing the town apart.

"What the hell is this all about?" Genzo asked as he reached for a cigarette. Placing it between his lips and removing a match he lit the cigarette quickly and started to inhale. Exhaling towards his right Genzo looked Maryn in the eye then focused his eyes on Miko.

Whoever these two were, they were clearly crazy.

Finally, after what seemed like years of waiting, it was time to let the beasts run wild. The duo had stopped and began to mark this spot as their fighting area, much to Miko's delight. The caped lady reached for her sword, but was immediately stopped when Maryn grabbed her arm and pulled her towards another direction. It wasn't exactly anything far, just a few meters that way and then Queen Maryn shouted something about the bandit leader lying to them. Not exactly a shining example of a glorious insult, it'll have to do for now.

"My queen, if I may," Miko said as she stepped in front of Maryn, "Eat shit, assholes! Go fall off a horse!" She shouted at the top of her lungs without making it sound like a screech, and it certainly did garner plenty of dirty, violent looks towards her. Excellent for her, cause now this crazy lady could finally taste some blood of her fingers.

However, a man caught both her and Maryn's eye; with a ghost circling around him, his double swords and the cigarette in his mouth, this person certainly did look like quite the character to behold. And to top it off, quite good looking as well. Miko took a few steps forward towards this new man, and answered his question.

"What this is about? This is about the coming of this island's new ruler! Now bow before your new queen!" The purple caped lady declared triumphantly. After listening to Maryn speak about possibly recruiting this man, she simply smiled at it. "Then a fight is what you shall see, my queen. Now, prepare yourself for a grade-A ass-whooping!

Miko pulled out her sword and immediately dashed at this double-sword wielding swordsman with a murderous intent to kill. She raised her sword high up into the air like a Kendo swordsman, but immediately feinted the move as she swung down and drew her arm back. In an instant, she lunged her sword once, twice, three times at the man like a fencer.

Maryn looked at miko and at the swordsman .she found a challenge for her and she was going to let them enjoy their battle " worthy he is .for me test that miko" Maryn said grinning before crossing her arms and creating 8 ghosts circling around an open area surounding Miko and Genzo. Leaving them room for battle .behind them was a lot of fighting and everything was really messy .especially with the bandit leader and navy officials on the way.

Maryn smiled a bit as she said " off for a bit I am, some bussines left to do I got, churches have to say boom before we dissapear and ring the bells" she said as she dissapeared into the crowd and into the direction of the church ready for some explosions. A lot of them.

As Miko spoke about the island becoming their domain Genzo raised an eyebrow. He was confused and didn't fully understand what it was with these two, but whatever it was, it was weird. When the little girl charged him with talk of an A -grade ass whooping, Genzo clutched his blades tighter as the girl came crashing down from the skies towards him. He barely had time for form a respond in his brain.

As she came crashing down Genzo raised his left sword to deflect the blow. When the girl drew back her blade, Genzo raised the right directed outwards and held it in front. Raising his right up & down in quick succession to push the girl's jabs aside Genzo inhaled on his cigarette.

One Sword Style: Beelzebub's Smoky Dice

Exhaling Genzo attempted to slice Miko whilst the smoke blinded her. Attempting to cut her from shoulder to waist with his free blade Genzo hoped he could bring about enough pain to stop the crazy little girl. Rolling the cigarette to the side of his mouth he spoke.

"Look I don't care what you guys are here for, but I'm not here for a fight but a sword."

Genzo didn't want to say it, but this girl seemed quite the proficient swords woman for a little girl. But she wouldn't beat him. Not a chance in hell. He just didn't want to hang about when the sword he'd come for was making its way through this crazy ass little town.

Kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, the only word that ran through Miko's mind at that time. Eons worth of pent of anger, rage, and bloodlust came pouring out in copious amounts through her expression and actions. She just kept on jabbing and jabbing, not even hoping that one will hit him, but just reveling in the fact that she now has regained her insanity and can truly enjoy the death of others by her hands, or something edgy like that. However, her constant jabbing was stopped when she had some cigarette smoke blown into her face.

"Agh! What the shit is this, tobacco?" Miko exclaimed as her eyes watered and her throat tingle as she inhaled the rotten smoke. She took a few steps backwards immediately because even she knew that this guy was going to take advantage of this situation and attack. Unfortunately, even with her sword haphazardly guarding her body, she still got hit by the initial strike of the sword, causing a somewhat minor cut on her left shoulder. The lady immediately lifted the blade out of her body before it did anymore damage to her with her own blade and took another large step backwards. She moved her left arm to feel up the damage that was caused, and it wasn't as bad as it could've been, but it hurt like a bitch. Still, she could move her arm so that was a very good thing.

"Lookin' for a sword, eh? Well too bad cause it's a fight you're gonna get! And it's going to be my sword once I deal with you!" Miko declared triumphantly, as if she knew she already had won the battle. Instead of attacking like she normally would, she wanted to try out a new technique she thought up (right now). She sheathed her sword, letting it hang by her left flank and took a horse stance, never once breaking eye contact with the opponent in front of her. She grasped the sheath with her left hand, and the handle with her right. She said nothing out loud, but kept on muttering the word "kill" over and over again, waiting impatiently for him to make a move towards her.
