Wolf meet Monkey (Frost Pirates Only)

The sun was shining brightly over a small island. On that island was a small village. and in that village lived what semed like the nicest people on earth, who would never even hurt a fly. But one thing that was weird about this town and island was that everyone lived in fear. Ever since HE came to the island. They thought it was only a normal marine inspection when they saw the ship in the horizon. Then someone took out a binocular and saw The jolly roger in the flag post instead of the normal marine flag.
This was 3 weeks ago. and Andrè was living like a king on this island, everyone treated him nicely. Mostly because they where afraid of what he would do to them if he became angry. Which had only happend once.

The people of the island was constantly reminded on how Andrè would act if he was mad. It had happend during Andrè's first week. A man was sick of how Andrè treated them. and had challenged him to a duel. Now that man was hanging from 4 big icicles in the town sqare. His hands and feet were black from frost bites. and the man himself was skinny from starving. The only reason he was still alive was because Andrè wanted to always remind the people who he was. and for that reason he 3 to 4 times a day he refroze the icicles and fed the man enought to survive. That was the only times he would show kindness.

Andrè was now currently enjoying a nice cold dessert made by the best pastry chef. he was sitting on the balcony of the big mantion that was previously owned by wealthy family. now he was living in it and enjoying life as a ruler. while enjoying the dessert he saw that winds shifted and dark clouds started to drift over the island. anyone that was such a big movie cliches fan as he knew that this meant something was coming.

With a splitting head ache and a mouth that tasted like hot ash the ground grainy and painful to the touch The Mad Cog Monkey also known as Wilfred Cyckes the son of a whore and tortured soul thanks to made up crimes woke up to find himself hanging upside down with his arms and legs bound as well as his own body tied to the anchor of a ship. Turned out he'd messed with the wrong people and they'd taken action against him. 

They were getting ready to lower the anchor as they arrived on the new town. Realizing that he was most likely about to throw up and it would only go over his eyes Wilfred started to wriggle as far as he know no one knew he was even awake. 

Struggling desperately to free himself, he started to use his thumbs to pull the ropes apart. He could hear the Captain giving the order to drop him and felt a sudden splash of ice cold water rush over his torso, thankfully he also was met with the glorious gratefulness of freedom as his entire body was no freed from the shackles and it would be time to make his escape. Later he could return for revenge that would be most horrific, but until then he could wait. He needed some food in his belly and a fire would be great to warm his belly.

Finishing the dessert Andrè figured he would check on his ship, his trusty ice breaker. the ship he had stolen after killing a marine captain. Himself being an ex-captain after commiting that crime earned him a juicy bounty. Which for some reason made many people want to capture him. it had happend from time to time during his stay on this island and it started to get annoying. and for some reason people also wanted to sink his ship. which he was not very fond of.

As he walked through the town he could see people shutting their windows and doors when they saw him. Just the way he wanted it. Getting to the town square he saw the man that once had challenged him. on the ground before him, was the usuall plate of food. Andrè picket up the plate and started feeding the man. The man ate like he always did. once the plate was finished. Andrè grabbed hold of two icicles and started to refreeze them. The man yelped when he felt the cold go from the icicles into his hands freezing the blood there. The winds have changed. I might leave soon Andrè said as he finished the last icicles. au revoir, see you at supper.



Coming close to the harbor he saw two things out of the ordinary. One a ship had docked to the harbor. Two a bunch people where getting of the ship. Looking more closely at the ship he could see the jolly roger waving at the top of the mast. To get from the harbor to the town the would have to go up a steep stone slabb hill. Andrè decided to make things a little difficult for these pirates to get to the town. and with that he went over to a nearby house went inside and requested two buckets of water. when he got them he poured the water on the slabbs and then he went down on hands and knees and started to freeze the water on the slabbs. creating a slippery icy surface the last quarter of the hill. Let's see these baboons getting past this.

Feeling his lungs struggling to breath beneath the cool water of the blue Wilfred angled himself skywards and begun kicking in the blue to raise himself towards the surface. With the hope of clean fresh air filling his lungs and freedom from the pirates he'd got on the wrong side of, Wilfred burst through freeing himself as he raised up through the surface. Inhaling deeply Wilfred looked to the left keeping a keen eye on the pirates before he started swimming to the right, past a few palm trees that sat upon the shore. 

Feeling his feet pressing against the shore beneath the water he started to walk up the shore and on to the island. Casting another look to the left to see the pirates still busy with docking he got out of the water and quickly shook himself dry. Damp but not drenched any longer Wilfred looked ahead to find himself a path and started down it. Leading away from the harbor and down into the town far away from the harbor using a small side street Wilfred was looking for a place to grab a drink and dry off. 

Then who knew what would be next, the day was still young.

Andrè took a chair that stood outside the house he had gotten the buckets from and placed it on the very top of the hill and sat down to enjoy the show. From what Andrè could see had the pirates places the biggest one they had infront of the others. Most probably to act as a shield. But they soon regretted this as when the big pirate got to the icy part of the hill he slipped and almost like in a cartoon or slapstick sketch he fell backwards and started to roll down towards the harbor again. those unfortunant that had walked righ behind him got crushed when he fell and probably broke a few ribs. while those lucky enought to walk last had enought IQ to jump out of the way of the rolling pirate. who rolled all the way to the dock and straight into the water.

As Andrè watched this scene unfold he could not keep his laughter inside. so there he was on top of the hill sitting complealy in the open and laughing, Loud. a few brave people opened their windows to see where the laughter came from. After wiping the tears of joy Andrè yelled down the hill Thanks for the laught. haven't laughted that hard in a long time. But look if you are here too rob you might as well leave. This town is taken already by the Frost Pirates captain Andrè Duval.

Arriving at a small bar which was tucked away in a small alleyway Wilfred made his way in with a grin as he shivered a little from the breeze that blew past him and the coldness of the water which dripped form his skin. Pushing open the doors to the tavern Wilfred found warmth washing over his torso and a larger smile emerged over his face. As he entered the bar a few faces turned in his direction and a few puzzled expressions due to his condition but he shrugged it off. This was none of their business. 

Arriving at the bar and sitting on a stool he looked to the bar keep then to the other patrons and raised a hand signalling the bar keep towards himself. 

"Hey bar keep."

Making his way down towards Wilfred the bar keep placed down the glass he was in the middle of drying with a cloth and faced Wilfred. 

"What's your poison?"

Looking over the bar and into the fridge behind at the large variety of drinks he decided to settle on a cider instead of the beer most others around him seemed to be drinking. 

"I'll settle for a Sea Shaw Cider"

Snatching one out of the fridge and popping the top off with a bottle opened the bar keep placed it on the bar and opened a hand in Wilfred's direction. 

"3, 57"

"Got change?" Wilfred asked as he removed a 50 Beli note and handed it over. The Bar keep rolled his eyes before he took the note and headed to the till where he removed the change. Handing it over as Wilfred took his first sip the bar keep returned to his glass and cloth. 

Turning on the stool Wilfred took a look around the bar at the fellow patrons wondering if he could gather a crew of his own. He'd always wanted to be a captain and even had a flag and crew name in mind. Just no ship, no crew and no idea how to start one. He could always hold his own recruitment party but that required too much work and he knew that he wasn't one to convince people to join so he was left pretty screwed with the inability to gather his own crew. Or get his own ship.

Upon hearing Andrè's name the pirates became full with fear. of course had they heard of him and what he had done that had given him his bounty. And they did not want to mess with a guy this crazy. So as quick as they could they got back on the ship and prepared to set sail. Andrè who did not want to see this, as he knew how it went along. So instead he headed into the town again to have a drink at his favorite bar.

When he got in the bar keep gave him one quick look before looking away again. The other people in the bar turned as far away from andrè with their eyes as they could without falling of their chairs. All but one did this. a funny looking fellow how was sitting by the bar desk. not only that but he was sitting on the stool he used to sitt on. was this a another guy trying to challenge him. or was he with the pirates that were about to leave. either way there was no chance of this guy doing what he wanted on his island.

As he walked up behind the guy he coated the palm of his hand in a layer of very cold ice. it was a trick he had used alot of times to scare people out of his spot. When Andrè was right behind the guy he placed the hand on one of the guys shoulders and said. Pardon. but that is my seat so move or else.

Hearing the footsteps of a gentleman approach from behind Wilfred ignored this and continued to drink. He enjoyed the cider though it was very different from what he would normally drink. Placing it down and feeling a little more refreshed his belly rumbled and a burp found its way to his lips. Belching he placed a hand over his mouth and half smile which had begun to appear. 

Wilfred begun to tap his fingers over the bar with a grin and turned to see the man on the bar stool beside him had a peculiar man behind him. If Wilfred was honest he felt the man looked like he was the kind who would enjoy "Sailing" If ya know what I mean. Shrugging his shoulders he figured as long as its not pushed on to him he'll be fine. 

He didn't much care for that alternative life style choice, but didn't begrudge it either, however if it was pushed his way you could expect a fist to the face or something a little more. He really didn't like being pushed and like poking a bear it would only ever be a matter of time before you felt the claws digging deep. 

As the gentleman beside him yelped from the icy cold hand of the gentleman Wilfred allowed his eyes to look aside and he rolled his eyes. The gentleman hopped up in shock and cast his drink behind him which would spill over the gentleman. 

"HOLY SHIT!"

What a bastard! Wilfred thought to himself as the guy seemed to be pretty bastard like causing the simple guy to spill his drink. If he dared do such a thing to him Wilfred had a trick or two up his sleeve. He was pretty good at spotting weak spots on people. So far he hadn't quite spotted one but he hadn't taken a proper look at the guy yet. But he was guessing from the looks of him, he had more confidence than he knew what to do with and had no idea what he wanted to do with his life so he decided to act like a dick just to get people to like him which didn't work out. But that was just a working analysis. 

Gripping his drink tightly and preparing himself for what would come to him next Wilfred placed his other hand on to his left thigh.

Watching the man jump out of his seat made Andrè smile alittle. As he always liked scarying people. Oh I am so sorry I didn't mean to give you a cold shoulder Andrè said and chuckled a little of his little pun, before sitting down on his usuall spot. The usual. He said to the bar keep which made the drink as fast as he could. After getting the drink Andrè turned around looking into the bar. The man he had scared had walked to a corner as far away from him as possible.

As for the other people in the bar they where the usuall people. except for on guy who Andrè was now sitting next to. He had never seen this guy around here before. what was diffrent about him was that his cloths where somewhat wet. and there were clear signs of dried saltwater as small salt grains where pressent on his cloths. Has this guy swimmed to this island? Andrè though to himself as he looked at the guy.

Andrè turned towards the guy to start a conversation. but before he could the bar door exploded open. As the smoke cleared he big guy with a black coat tricord hat and at least a dusin pistols in his cross belt over his chest came into the bare and screamed. CYCKES WHERE ARE YOU?

As the guy ran and burrowed into a corner whilst the man sat beside him after making a lame cold shoulder pun Wilfred ignored him and straightaway started to wonder what this guy's issue was and why people were scared of a guy like him. Were they scared of the bum fun he might try initiating? If so he was prepared a quick slice to the shaft and there wouldn't be a smile nor anything to sit on. 

Taking another sip from his drink Wilfred quickly finished it and left it on the bar. He picked himself up and decided it was time to find a new place to rest or figure out his next move. His clothes were drying up nicely and it was about time too. He'd been too wet for too long already. Heading towards the door he was interrupted when a sudden explosion came his way and a gentleman came bursting through the door calling after him. 

Noticing the number of guns over his chest and the angered expression on his face Wilfred raised an eyebrow. Was this a guy he'd pissed off or was he just some nut case running around shouting his name? The former sounded more likely, but who knew in a place like this who were scared of a little bum fun. 

Pointing to himself Wilfred questioned.

"Me?" 

He wasn't stupid or anything, he just wanted to make sure. His other hand however had already vanished from sight and into a slightly better place where it could be of more use than his finger that currently pointed towards his torso.

The pirate turned as he heard the voice of Cyckes. He he, nice little trick there, escaping the anchor. But I am not done with you. the pirate said and a big nasty grin was send towards the guy named Cykes. but as the pirate started to walk towards the man. Andrè walked between. Andrè was familiar with this pirate, they had worked together in secresy while he was working for the marines. Andrè had helped him escape in return for some nasty poisonus frogs. Bonjour mr. Goliath. remember me?


Cross Guard Goliath. a very gentle and kind man. if you don't piss him of. which was difficult. even Andrè hadn't managed that. so who ever this guy Cyckes was, he must have done something really bad to piss this guy off. and that made him interesting for Andrè Wehehell, isn't it my old pal Frost Wolf Duval Goliath laughed and gave Andrè a hug. I am guessing it was your guys that I send down hill? Andrè replied to the hug. Yeah. once they heard your name they where ready to leave any second. And knowing you I didn't want to get your bad side. Goliath replied. so why are you still here?  well you see this guy Goliath pointed towards Cyckes pissed me off, so I decided to teach him a lesson by tying him to my anchor. and now I have come to finish the favor. and with that he pushed Andrè to the side to go and attack Cyckes.

Andrè on the other hand had other plans. as he was pushed to the side he came next to Goliath. grabbed a hold of his outstreched arm and forced it towards the pirate as well as kicking the back of the pirates leg forward. This made Goliath fall on his back knocking the air out of him. then he sat ontop of the pirates stomach and grabbed a hold of his throat. I have my own interests in this Cyckes guy so leave him alone. Andrè said as he used his ice powers to create a freezing grip around Goliath's throat and just to show of he coated his entier arm in ice so cold that smoke started to emit from it. Then he released his grip and walked of the pirate. then he turned towards the guy he only knew as Cyckes and said. Now mr. Cyckes. mind if I bought you a drink.
