[Serious/Solo] Darkest Night Empty [Serious/Solo] Darkest Night

Raft black as night, the wind as a guide gently blowing toward its destination. Paint or natural, one never could tell but unaffected by the seawater, it continued on.  It was dark as the transport reached port in Logue Town.  To transport what, would be to look upon the lady who had sat upon it, she did not look ingénue.  What she came for one could guess, to find untoward individuals. A large sprawling population would be rife with it, even with the omnipresent government.

But even with their eyes, when it becomes the darkest nights, their eyes are forever shut. He stepped off of her raft and tied it to the mooring. A couple of dock workers walked over to her.
“Hello! Welcome to Logue Town!” One of them said, he wore a shirt that was marred with sweat and smelt of sea water. “Sorry, but to dock there you have to pay a mooring tax at the gates.” He seemed genuine, if he had wanted to try to cheat her he would’ve probably have asked for money up front.
She nodded to them in thanks and went up the stairs. As she walked she dipped her fingers into her purse and fished out a couple of beli, placing it into the gate window. It was dark, probably at around nine or ten PM, the criminals will reveal themselves soon enough. She walked, one among about half a dozen, the mellifluous street had turned to ominous shadow. The place was still redolent from a normal day in life for the denizens. She heard noises coming from the alleyway.
“Just keep real still.” Said a figure, there were around five or six in all. One of them whimpered, probably a mugging. She took a couple of steps back and loaded her crossbow with a Rope bolt. She aimed it at the top of the house and fired. The bolt flew onto the roof and became edged into a tile. After testing its strength, she started to scale the wall.
“What do you think we should do with him now?” One of the muggers asked as she reached the top,  taking back her bolt. She loomed over them.
“We don’t wanna be caught, how ‘bout cutting out his tongue?” one of them replied.
“Or we could just let him go, we’ve got the money.” Said another.
“Yeah, Bliz is right, you’re just sadistic.”
The former one rounded up on the other two. “What if he tells the marines? What about then? He’s seen our faces!” he argued.
“Yeah, well threatening him with the boss should do the trick.” Said the second one, before going over to the victim and whispering in his ear.
She heard about enough of it. She took a Smoke bolt from one of her quivers, and loaded it into the crossbow. It was about a five or so meter drop, landing on the muggers should cushion the impact for her, but it was still going to hurt. And hopefully it’ll hurt them too. She aimed downwards and fired, smoke billowed out from where it struck, and she jumped. She specifically chose to knock out the aggressive one first, and leave the second one for last. She landed upon his back, crouching and rolling to further reduce fall damage, she only grazed her arm. However, the mugger had been knocked unconscious. She proceeded to the next one, Rendon she began to punch him multiple times to the solar plexus before jumping, kicking him in the temple and knocking him out too. There were three more. The smoke still covered her movements, but not for long. She dealt with another mugger with Rendon before the smoke started to clear. She loaded her crossbow with a Pepper bolt and aiming at the farthest mugger.
“Woah, what the he-“ he began as he noticed his comrades were down before taking the impact of a blunted bolt filled with pepper powder upon the chest, causing him to sneeze violently and uncontrollably. Tears began to well up from his reddening eyes,  she didn’t quite enjoy close-in fighting but it was quicker this way. She became locked in combat with the last two. After trading blows, she ducked and used Sari to sweep her leg underneath them, causing the two to lose balance and fall over. Kicking them both multiple times in the head until they too were unconscious, she walked over to the buckled robber, still trying to recover from the pepper in his face. She grabbed him, splashing water on his face from her flask. “You mentioned a “boss”. Tell me about him.” She said, grabbing his hair and wrapping her other arm around his.
“W-acho! Who a-are you?” he exclaimed, prompting her to twist his wristle. “Aaagh! He’s called Biege, that’s all we know ab-achoo! About him!” he said, before taking a closer look at her. “Your teeth are freaky.” He muttered.
She threw him down, before looking at the victim of their mugging. “Take your money back and leave. Do these people have a name?” He shakily shook his head and shrugged, indicating that he didn’t know, most likely. He searched through their pockets, pulled out a few beli and left. She turned back to the mugger, who was trying to sneak up on her.
“Okay, o-“ he began before she ran up to and wrapped her arms around him, opening her mouth. “What the he-“ she sunk her teeth deep in his neck, causing him to violently flail and scream. She felt warmth travelling through her system, after a couple of moments she had her fill, and left him on the ground. She didn’t advance his aging, but she did leave him weak. It would take a couple of days for him to recover from the blood loss. She wiped a bit of blood from her cheek. It was time to hunt.
Thank you for your contribution. Goodbye.” She said to him, collecting her bolts and placing them in the quiver.
Returning to the street, eyes glanced toward her and people began to look into the alleyway. She had already turned a corner before she heard the cries of alarm. She needed more information,  perhaps  there was an inn around. After around fifteen minutes of walking she found a tavern that still looked open, stepping inside she was welcomed to the smell of alcohol and the aroma of beef stew. She sat down and placed a few beli on the table.
How old is the stew?” she asked, places like these usually had stews that were day old, even weeks. “You’re in luck, two days since it became ripe.” Replied the bartender. She nodded, a bowl with a spoon was placed onto her table and she dug in. Hunger wasn’t her largest issue, but she had run out of food the day before, she signalled for water and it was brought to her. She ate and drank, no sense in investigating the city on an empty stomach. People came and went, before she heard a rather angry… Sound. She turned around and saw that the one who most recently entered was none other than one of the muggers.
“She’s here! I’ve found her!” he shouted, running out of the place. She looked around, the males were staring at the females, the females were staring at other females. She let out a long, drawn sigh and stood up, no sense in allowing innocents to get in danger.
Thank you for the meal.” She said to the innkeeper before opening the doors. She looked around, the alleyway in front of her had about seven men coming through it, and to her left four and three on the right. Fourteen men have come to take her down, for stopping a mugging? It seems that she has upset the wrong people. Or the right people.
“Give yourself up, or we’ll get real nasty, no one messes with the Snake-Head gang!” one of them called, from the lamp, it he seemed to have a tattoo on his head, probably a snake, as his gang’s name suggested.
I have come to bring your kind behind bars, at least. I’m not going to sotp because I’m outnumbered.” She replied, loading an oil bolt into her crossbow. She then picked out a fire bolt, waving it into one of the inn’s torches. She aimed at the mouth of the alleyway, reloaded and fired the flaming bolt toward the mess of oil, causing it to go alight.
“Damn it!” The tattoo-man shouted, giving her a glare through the flames. She simply loaded another crossbow. “What’re you guys doing? Get her!” he ordered, the people at her flanks started to move in. “You’re DEAD!”
Charming.” She muttered, no time to load another bolt. She needed to get away, she had a name. She would lay low for a couple of days and then return. She started to change, her arms grew longer and the top of her face became purple, in fact her elbow and down became purple as well, wings growing from her arm. She had become the hybrid of what she was, a vampire. The people took steps back, even fell upon the ground in terror. She ignored their screams, and spread her wings. She jumped into the air and flew toward the clocktower, that is where she’ll spend the night, then she would return at day to gain provisions, then rest. She’ll return after about two or three days.
