Cards? Was he good at cards? Well I might be." Colton thought to himself, but it was just effort. Looking at Alexis Colton replied.

"No, I don't really play cards. Tell you what if you go play cards and get into a conversation about his weapons you can ask him where he got it from. I'll go play music up at the stage with my guitar. Take my tone dial with you and record the whole conversation so we can listen to it later if you get anything."

Handing over his tone dial, Colton finished up his drink and made his way up to the stage where the awful couple were finishing their song. As they finished with a horribly off key note Colton smiled on the outside.

"Hey guys that was a good set, you mind if I do a little bit?"

"Thanks, most people usually tell us we suck, but its refreshing to hear a nice comment like that."

"Why be mean when you can make the world a slightly nicer place right?"

"Exactly. Of course you can go on up, we'll be watching you." the lady said as her and her partner made their way to the bar. Smiling Colton thought to himself how easy ti was to lie to their faces. Sitting on the stool he placed his guitar on his lap and strummed it once.

Smiling at Alexis and nodding he looked out over the crowd.

"This is a song about a girl called Delilah"

Alexis nodded, accepting the dial and placing it into her pocket as she walked off toward the cardgame table, looking the other way and making a sick face as Colton managed to compliment the WWA (Worlds Worst Artists), she placed her hand on the table. "Oi, got room for another?" she'd ask, looking at the cardgame they were playing.

She would sit onto the table without waiting for an answer and would place one arm behind the back of the seat. "What're we playin' anyways?" she ask, nodding to Colton discreetly as he began to sing his song.

Watching Alexis arrive at the table Colton made sure to keep looking around the room and keep hold of their attention. The more people looking at him the less would look at the two new comers to the bar and town.

He knew new faces drew attention and with all of that attention on him Alexis would have more of a chance.

"We're playin' cheat. You know how to play?" one of the men asked as another chuckled to himself muttering.

"A chick who knows how to play cheat."

Dealing out the cards each of them was dealt a fair amount and before the game started the group of men all spent the next few moments sorting out their cards.

Looking towards Alexis they placed their cards on the table and waited for her answer. If she didn't how to play cheat they'd have to teach her. If she did even better.

Taking a sip from his pint of grog the man who'd dealt out the cards smirked. He obviously had something good in his hand.

Alexis gathered up her cards before checking them, it wasn't TOO bad, it could've been worse, but she was fairly balanced all around, thought that may mean she'd blow all the good ones early, oh well. "Who wants to go first?" she asked, getting ready to call out on any bullshit she may sense.

Placing down four cards the first man announcing.

"Four Jacks" the other men in the group looked at each other before the next man placed down three cards and announced.

"Two Queens."

The third man smiled as he laid down three cards and grinned.

"Three Queens."

Looking towards Taki all of the men waited for her to make her move or call cheat. Among the men they seemed to know who was cheating, but picking on the newbie was always fun.

Waiting for her answer the men all took a sip of their drink with a hearty smile on their face. But thankfully Alexis wasn't there to play cards or even win. She was there to find out about their navy flintlocks.

Alexis looked at her cards, right, she had (about)thirteen cards:

One king.
One jack.
Two tens.
Three eights.
One seven.
One five.
Two threes.
One ace.

She pointed her finger into the air, letting it stay there before a moment before pointing toward the guy who first set down his cards, the four jacks one. "Moootherfuuuucking CHEAT." she'd say, slamming a few cards face down onto the table. "Two fives." she say, straightfaced.

Bursting into a multitude of laughter at Alexis's claim the men pushed her cards back into her hands.

"You should have called cheat earlier luv, when you call cheat, it'll be the last person who laid their cards down you're calling cheat on. And I ain't cheating."

Flipping over the last three cards he revealed they were all queens. It was the previous man who'd laid down a two & a four and claimed them as queens.

Laughing as it was now Alexis's turn to pick the cards up the man before Alexis reached back into his hand of cards and placed down four cards.

"Four Nines." he said.

"Oh.. Right." she said, a bit embaraassed but she wasn't really here to win, maybe if she put on the hint that she wasn't all that smart, they'd bbe more likely to idly gossop, She put two tens on the board, might as well play it safe for now. "Two tens." she said, looking toward the next guy to make his move. She scratcher the tip of her nose, looked around, Colton was still playing his song, mayb after one more round or when she loses (or wins) she'll ask, or actually she could lose, then mutter something about not having any weapons to ppack herself up, yeah.

They made idle chitchat, played until everyone's hands were empty.. Apart from Alexis'. Slamming her fist on the table, she faceplanted. "Goddamnit." She mumbled, much to their amusement. She reached under the table and clicked the toen dial. "Ugh.. Anyway I've been looking to find some weapons, just got lucky on a job and that's one of the things I wanna spend on before some other bloody gangs come after me, any ideas?" she asked, they looked around, coughing.

"We got these flintlocks from Mile End, though a flintlock doesn't last very long, how about Seedy's blacksmith, he sells good daggers."

"Right, thanks." she clicked the tone dial again, and walked out of the tavern, waving her hand in gratitude. She waited outside for Colton.

Finishing his song Colton received a small round of applause. The pitter patter made hims wonder why he'd never taken it up as a career. He seemed better than the previous musicians who sat at the bar smiling as they clapped.

"Thank you, thank you. This next song is a personal favorite of mine and I hope it'll be one of yours too."

Colton's Second Song

As he begun playing Colton watched the atmosphere in the room change, noticing the former female musician's smile grow even wider Colton started picking up the pace and started to sing. Singing out loud he decided he'd give it his all. It was time he showed the audience what he could really do, even if it did mean putting in effort.

Astounding the audience as he played on Colton felt great. As he watched Alexis exit the tavern Colton finished his song. As he got another applause, much louder this time he couldn't have felt happier. Making his way down from the stage the previous musicians returned to the stage.

Arriving outside besides Alexis, Colton placed his guitar back on his back.

"How'd it go?" he asked Alexis who he noticed had her tone dial in her hand.

"Yeah, lost the game but won the info." Alexis said as she produced the tone dial, pressing it she replayed what she heard. She stopped the recording at
"We got these flintlocks from Mile End," since the rest was useless to them. "color=dodgerblue]So yeah, now we have to find where Mile End is. Forgot to ask where it was but hey.[/color]" She looked around, "Any ideas?" she asked as she started to walk further into the city. She checked the signs, but it's probably not a place to be highlighted if they're selling marine grade weapons.

Smiling as Alexis mentioned how she'd get the info and played the information on the tone dial Colton took his dial back and placed it in his pocket.

"Nice. Guess we need to find Mile End then."

Watching Alexis wander off before he could finish Colton joined Alexis jogging to catch up to her. Typical Alexis. Rude! Noticing an information stand a few meters away, Colton turned his left arm into ash and re-formed it by the information stand snatching up one of the maps about Crescent Drop.

As his hand returned to him Colton showed Alexis and looked himself. It was a small pamphlet about things to do & see in Crescent Drop.

"Well it seems someone thinks this place is worth visiting for sight seeing."

Opening up the pamphlet Colton could see it mention about sights in the town worth seeing but as he looked around all he could see was the hollow shell that was left behind.

"This says that on this street there used to be a beautiful stature which stood 25 ft tall of the hero of Crescent Drop Sir Rodrigo Callus the third, but I see no statue or anything that looks remotely like that."

Looking round a second time Colton confirmed it wasn't here. Looking back at the picture he read on.

"It looks pretty recognizable though."

The statue was of a man with a peg leg an eye patch with a beard reaching down to his torso an overcoat and trousers with holsters strapped to them which held flintlocks. In one hand the statue held a cutlass raised in the air, the other hand held a flag pole and the actual Crescent Drop national flag hung from the top of it.

Reading on further through the pamphlet, Colton read about the shore.

"According to this the shore we landed on even has a wishing well made in his honor with a small statue atop of it and if you make a wish it'll come true. I didn't see any fountain."

Things weren't adding up.

Unfolding the pamphlet a little more Colton found the map and started looking over it. They were on Brookholt Street and Mile End was further along this street, one left on to Brighthouse then it would be towards the end of Brighthouse, but it didn't look like a street, cul-de-sac or even a drive. It seemed to be a building.

Mentioning to Alexis where it was and even pointing it out and the route they'd have to take, Colton closed the pamphlet and tucked it into his pocket.

"Fancy taking a short cut?" Colton asked as he couldn't be bothered to walk anymore. Drifting into the air he was planning on flying over if Alexis declined he guessed he'd just wait for her to join him.

“Yup.” Alexis looked left, she looked right, nothing about a mile end in sight, maybe it’s a giant road which stretches a mile and the place it at the end? She wasn’t quite sure how big the city or twon was nor how big the island, but if there were then there’d probably be more since.. Uh.. Overthinking it.

She heard something from Colton about statues, turning around and walking backwards she saw that he had a leaflet or something. “Yeah, I don’t see any statues around, This place is in the shit.” she would say, before turning around again to walk forward and slow herself down so the slowpoke could catch up.

“Uh.. These guys decided alcohol is better?” she asked, coming up with excuses for things to not be there, but it’s true, the place looks a little suspicious. Walking along for a couple of moments before Colton spoke again, “Uh, sure.” she’d say, turning around looking for Colton then looking upwards, oh, devil fruit powers again.

Drifting into the air Colton reached for Alexis and as he wrapped his hands around her under arm he hoisted her quickly into the sky. Quickly drifting through the air and towards Mile End roughly following the directions he'd picked up from the map, Colton made it to Mile End in moments. At least he thought it was Mile End.

Placing Alexis back down he reformed beside her. Looking either side and even behind him before returning his gaze ahead Colton wasn't sure if he was in the right place. Before them both stood a large building with a rather romantic appearance to it.

The name was the one thing which gave it away though.

The Lusty Leopard

Looking at it in shock with a little bit of confusion, Colton looked at Alexis as he asked.

"Wrong place?"

Alexis dusted off Colton's ash and looked around, "When you bite the dust, want me to get you cremated? Stay as an ash man forever?" she grinned to herself before looking up at the building before them,

"Eeeh, I wouldn't count on it, a lotta stuff happens in whorehouses and not all of it pleasure." she said, giving Colton a shrug, she would try to wrap her arm through Coltons', tugging him along. "What kinda weapons do you wanna buy out first?" she'd grin as she aiemed toward the place, obviously she was puling his leg here, with brothels there were usually benefactors, and the benefactors usually dabbled in other stuff, it happened in most underground streets, they raked in too much money to ignore.

Hearing Alexis's question Colton looked her in the eye and couldn't help but feel a little disappointed in her poor attempt at a joke. Scowling Colton faced the Lusty leopard once more. Feeling her arm link around his and try to pull him into the brothel Colton gulped a little.

He'd never met a woman so eager to get into one of these places before. Reluctantly going with the flow he found himself dragged into the building. The questions of weapons now became a blur. In one ear & out the other and now here he was looking around at women in skimpy clothing dancing around poles or leading men with more money than brains into back rooms.

Two bouncers stood by the door and when they saw Alexis they raised their eye brows but figured they were an odd couple. Removing his arm from Alexis's grip, Colton made his way over towards the bar so he could look over the entire location.

If I were a black market salesman where would I be doing my work? he asked himself until his eyes flickered across a back door opening up and a man who looked like he owned the place gestured for a gentleman in a black hood to enter. Looking around to see if anyone had noticed after the hooded man entered the owner entered the door too.

Getting to his feet Colton walked past Alexis stopping slightly to let her know.

"Wait at the bar."

Quickly making his way to the bathroom Colton locked himself in a cubicle. Allowing his body to drift apart into ash he quickly exited the bathroom as a long trail of ash and slithered into the back room where the owner & the hooded man had been seen entering.

Listening out for them as he entered the back room, Colton viewed the first room, the second room & the third room. No luck until he checked the fourth where he could see the owner standing up with a navy grade flintlock in his hand. Testing out the feel in his hand he held a smile on his face whilst the man in the hood spoke.

"Mr Winston likes to think his weapons are something special since no one else can get old of these unless they come through him. So the price may be bit much, but they're in high demand and just think how lucky you'll be to have one when no one else can get them except the marines. You'll be on par with them."

Alexis took in the sights, and by sights she turned to look at COlton's reaction and laughed. Looks like he'd never even been in one of these places before and for her it was hil-ar-I-ous. She remembered one time when she had to sneak into one at her home island, stole a load of jewellery for the leader of her group at the time, needless to say there was a small uproar.

She wasn't really into girls so she didn't complain when she was told off to go to the bar. "Woo! Make it count!", she shouted after him, she was greeted by a bartender who had an inquisitive brow raised. "It's his birthday, came over from the other island since we had none here, pfah! Fucking virgins." she said, despite being one herself but hey, she might as well not be. "[dodgerblue]Anyway, I remember there beign this fucking great big statue in the middle of the place but now the street looks like shit. What the hell?[/color]" she asked, might as well get at least a little information while she was here, maybe it'll help later. "[color=dodgerblue]Uh.. I'll also take one of those.[/colro]" she said, pointing at a random drink on the board.

Re-forming just outside the room Colton listened to all that was being said and watched as the gentleman removed his hood. Getting a good look at him Colton imprinted the image into his brain. That was all he needed.

This man worked for Raymond Winston and now he knew just what the guy looked like too. Returning to his ash form Colton returned to the bathroom and exited moments later joining Alexis at the bar. Sitting beside her he kept his eyes focused downwards not wanting to look at any of the women in the area.

"I've seen the guy in the hood, he isn't Raymond but someone who works for him, he'll be leaving soon so one of us should man the back door and one the front. Once he leaves we'll follow him just out of sight of the club and ambush him." Colton said in a hushed tone before he yawned.

"You want the back or the front?"

"Yeah, i'll take that back." she whispered, looking forward, before winking at him and finishing off the rest of her drink. She pushed herself backward, toppling off the chair before rolling back up, she staggered around before blearily looking around. "Hhssnn.. Bllrp!" she muttered before running toward the back door, obviously giving the impression that she's off to relieve her stomach.

Once outside she would feign retching before walking over to a dumpster, leaning back against it and waiting for the guy to come out, if he comes out. Oh yeah.. She forgot to ask for a signal or something for when the guy comes out, oh well she'sll just run over and cuff him over the head, that should do the trick.

Nodding as he watched Alexis drunkenly stumble off Colton made his way out to the front. Making his way across the street he walked into an alleyway and once out of sight drifted towards the rooftop over looking the Lusty leopard.

Waiting for what seemed to be roughly 45 minutes Colton wound up catching sight of nothing more than a series of random people entering and exiting the lusty leopard.

Yawning before he almost fell asleep he noticed a gentleman leaving with his hood up. Floating apart and drifting past his face he was able to confirm this wasn't his guy.

Opening the back door the man made his way out as he placed a wad of cash into his pocket. Reaching for his knife the gentleman wanted to be prepared for whatever came his way. He'd be assaulted here before and knew people tried to attack him the second he left the premises.

By the time the man came out, Alexis had been half asleep, upside down on the wall. She blinked as she saw someone actually coming out and, using the garbage bin as cover, ran off to the front. "Oi, shady guy just came out through the back, c'mon." she'd whisper, almost falling into him as she hurries to deliver the news, before running back to the back alley, stopping before the corner and peeping over to check if he's moved or not.

Catching sight of Alexis running towards him Colton noted she'd seen the guy quickly drifting around the corner Colton could see the gentleman walking towards the open street and crossing it. Hiding behind the garbage can Colton stood beside Alexis.

"Right, when he goes into that alley across the street I'm going to drift over to the other side and top him, I want you to come in on him from behind."

"Right." she said, skulking after the guy, she turned the corner and would attempt to almost tip-toe after him until she reached the open street, to which she walked normally as to not arouse attention from anyone else, putting her hands in her pockets and looking around innocently until he and she went into the next alleyway, to which she'd prepare for tackling time.

Arriving in the alleyway across the street the man pulled his hood back up again and released his grip on the knife in his sling pocket. Continuing his journey to his next seller he smiled as he placed his hand around the wad of money. It made him smile like no one else ever had done or could. Now he could afford that new tattoo with the dragon.

Arriving at the end of the alleyway Colton started walking his way taking no notice of this he started walking on the left side before he noticed the other man walking on the right. Every time one switched sides the other would copy.

Getting closer and closer Colton revealed his true colours and raised his right hand.

Dirt Dragon Charge

Launching out a sinister looking projectile the man paused and ducked diving for cover hoping it would avoid him only to feel the warmth from it drifting overhead. Peering up and realizing it had gone over head he started running towards the cut away on the right before Colton.

What he hadn't anticipated was the dragon coming back for him. Turing in the alleyway the dirty dragon came speeding behind the gentleman. Reaching the cut away he was about to sprint away from them when he watched as a wall of dirt rose trapping his right foot. Watching in a blind panic the man's eyes begun to water as the dragon sped towards him.

Closing his eyes the gentleman hoped it would be a quick death. He discovered that death was not his destiny today.

Crouching down to find a series of wads of beli Colton picked them up and signaled towards Alexis to join him.

"Quite allot of money here. I don't know what you'll need it for when you're dead though. You can't take it with you."

"I was planning on getting tattoos with it."

"The idiots answer." Colton laughed.

Alexis continued to skulk the guy until Colton smashed him with his fruit, or.. Didn’t. She ccouldn’t quite see from where she was, either way he was on the floor. She walked up to him with her arms to the side in a “What the hell?” way. “Thought I was gonna get a shot.” she said when she got closer.

Stomping slightly toward the crooked guy, she would attempt to plant her boot on his chest, not quite on his throat but just close enough for him to get the idea. “Oi, dickface. Where’d ya’ get the weapons from? D’ya want your balls to end up like mashed potatoes?” she ask with her shadiest face and voice, intimidation should work, though she went the extra mile by lifting her feet and placing it lower on his body, on his stomach.

Pocketing the beli, Colton laughed as Alexis took charge of the interrogation. She seemed surprisingly good at it too threatening the testicular area straight away.

Looking up into her disgruntled face the gentleman replied with a sickened tone.

"facking 'ell. What's wrang with you two? You nearly broke me leg an me ribs!"

Rolling his eyes Colton replied.

"Just tell us where the weapons came from and we'lol let you go. That's all we wanna know."

Raising a hand which seemed to generate something hot and holding it above his face Colton smiled. He didn't want to harm the man but if he needed to have would.

Looking at the hand and feeling the heat coming off of it he looked at Alexis whose face hadn't lightened up either.

"fine look, there's this guy Raymond Winston, he's selling the weapons. He sent me out to sell these ones. I can sell you some yourselves if ya like."

"No thanks we already have some of our own."

Colton replied showing his which sat tucked into his pants. Not that he ever used it.

"oh shit! You guys are. . . "

Nodding the gentleman shut up and gulped. He had realised just who he was dealing with. Two marines who wouldn't take any of his shit

"Alright Raymond can be found up there in the high end part of town. He lives in the Manor House on park drive. You can't miss it, it's big grey thing with statues and all that type of shit outside."

Smiling Colton looked towards Alexis.

"Thank you, now as I said before you'lol be free to go. But remember if you get in our way again you won't be getting off so lightly."

Nodding he tried getting up to find Alexis still had her foot on his chest.

"Alexis want to put him out of his misery?" Colton asked as he yawned turning around and away from Alexis and the gentleman. It was time they got their hands on Raymond now.

Alexis grinned as they managed to get the information, watching Colton walk away she kicked the man in the head, attempting to knock him out (and trying again if a failiure) and then running after Colton, “So yeah, what next? Wanna go in and wreck the place or should we do a little sneakin?” she asked, maybe there’d be some vents where they could hear people. “Wanna take out the weapons too? Or give ‘em all back to the marines?” she also asked offhandedly, jumping over a rather suspicious looking pile of black stuff that smelt bad.
