The Excision Pirates had just left Loguetown and took a redirection from the Grand Line to some random island they had know idea about. The crew knew they had warships coming after them, and the captain, Chiru decided to stop for a pit stop before entering the famous Grand Line.

The ship remained a float, and Chiru threw out the anchor, with a little help from his fellow logias. Yes, that was plural. The man had two logias, the rare fruit, even for devil fruits. Chiru turned to let the crew know something big... The name of the pirates.

The Excision Pirates.

Chiru thought long and hard about the name when they were sailing. He figured they were going to make their mark on the world, leaving a deep excision. The Pink Surgeon was prepared to do so.

"I thought about the crew name guys. We're going to be known as the Excision Pirates."

Chiru stared at his fellow crewmates as he awaited their responses. He hoped they were excited as he was about getting their name heard. Possibly, the two would receive a bounty. But... he doubted it since not many people actually got a good sight of Fletcher who did most the damage, or Jonny.

Meanwhile the warship was not far behind. It was way, out of sight. But it was only a matter of time before it arrived. The warship was much faster than their boat since it was sailed by an actual sailor plus the ship had much more quality. They ehaded towards the Grand Line before realizing they were going the wrong way. They rerouted when they received a message on the den den mushi on where they were headed. Now, a furious captain prepared to give the crew a beating. Unless they could avoid it...

Fletcher had lay on his back, arms crossed behind his head throughout the entire trip, clearly relishing in the sheer freedom that came from being a pirate. He sighed contentedly as he finally opened his eyes, the crew having recently reached an island, Marines in hot pursuit. Fletcher knew that should HTiger him but he honestly couldn't bring himself to care, in fact he wouldn't mind knocking some Marines around and destorying a warship would give him (and by extension his captain) quite the reputation and potentially a bounty, if the assault of a Marine Officer and mild rampage throughout the town weren't enough to bolster his reputation. Of course, it was possible that nobody would've seen him, however the officer who he'd defeated would likely report him although they may not have a photo of him...hopefully they'd get his good side in a photo.

As they came in close to the island he finally decided to get up for the first time throughout the journey and began to help, throwing the anchor overboard with the assistance of the entire crew, which was only three people, but that was beside the point. Following this Chiru stated the name of the crew and the magma man couldn't help but grin, the fact they'd decided on a name meant they were well on their way to becoming a formal pirate crew, one important step completed. "Awesome, I can really dig it." Fletcher explained happily in reply to his captain's own enthusiasm. In fact, he enjoyed the name enough that he preferred it over the "Kickass Pirates" which was actually saying something.

After helping Chiru throw out the anchor to station the crew's ship, he decided to walk to it's side to gaze out into the vast waters of the East Blue. It seemed to go on for hundreds of miles without any land in site. It looked more like an ocean, but those bodies of water were much larger in volume and mass. They stretch for thousands of miles and yet seem to go on endlessly. Jonny wondered where their were going as a pit-stop before heading to the Grand Line. He knows full-well that they are not prepared to sail the dangerous boundaries of that region, even if there are 2 Logias on the ship with him included. What they need is a way to get through the Grand line safely with the help of someone who knows the weather well. Now that Jonny thinks about it more, they needed a navigator.

Hearing that the captain had finally came up with a name for the crew, the boy decided to turn his attention from the sea to look at him. He said they were now going to be known as the Excision Pirates. They name was actually pretty good in Jonny's opinion. It sound cool and had a tough feeling to it. The boy could see how it would shock other, if they were to become famous. The boy gave a thumbs-up as an approval of the crew's new name.

"Awesome name Chiru, that goes well with us." He said happily, agreeing with his captain's decision on the name for the group. Jonny then, thought of where they were going, if not to the Grand Line. He wants to know what island they were going to stop at and what they were looking for specifically. There seemed to be numerous possibilities to what they were going to do. Also, Jonny can't forget the marines they were chasing them. From what the lightning boy suspects, the crew must have given them the slip. He decided to put his hands in his pockets and converse to his captain on the next destination.

"Hey captain, do you know where we are going. Are we gonna get some more crew mates besides getting supplies." He asked Chiru. If they were looking for more members, then they were going to need a bigger boat. Either that or to just search for at least one new crew mate.

"I guess we'll go into town to figure out where we're at. Then we'll find supplies and that good stuff, then return here. Speaking of the ship... Fletcher, you stay here to protect. We have no clue where we're at so let's take care of our pride and joy. Sorry you have to be alone, but try to have fun. Let's go Jonny."

Getting out of the ship, Chiru made his way towards town. Leading the way Chiru approached one of the civilians in the averaged sized town, with a decent population as well. Walking up to the civilian, Chiru asked where they were at.

"Gat Town. Owned by Gat the pirate, the man has been terrorizing us for years and nobody can stop him. He does have a 34,000,000 beli bounty after all."

Chiru instantly knew what he was going to do now... He was going to gather his crew and kick these guys' asses. Heading to the market, Chiru was going to search for food before beating these guys. That was all Chiru would search for since that was the main thing they needed, for now. They had a mission to do.

"Get ready to kick some ass Jonny. Once we get Fletcher we're going to beat their faces in." said Chiru who was leading the way, walking away from the man and to the center of the town.

Fletcher was somewhat dissapointed by the fact that his crew was going to vist the first island they'd reached without him, expressing it by initially frowning. But he did understand that the safety of the ship was paramount, with Marines after them if anything happened to ship they could end up in serious trouble. And what's more, the magma man had just achieved freedom, he didn't want to relinquish it just yet and end up incarcerated due to him wanting to see the island. But that didn't mean he had to like it. Sighing he waved the two of them off. "Have fun guys, don't get lost now." He stated in a joking tone, acting as a mother would in an attempt to be humorous. And then they were off. Already bored Fletcher leant against the railings looking out over the town with mild curiousity before reflecting once more on why Johnny was allowed to go instead of him. He'd technically joined the crew first and although he wasn't the First Mate to his knowledge he felt more qualified. Of course, Johnny hadn't tried to murder him and level a town...couldn't argue with that.

Of course, the magma man decided that Chiru probably took Johnny with him because he needed the strongest fighter onboard, namely him, to guard the ship...yeah, that was it. With a grin Fletcher moved away from the railing and reflected on the positive. He would be able to get some peace and quiet and just relax. Sitting down, his back to the mast of the ship the magma man began to relax and just stared out at the ocean. He couldnn't fall asleep in case they were attacked but still, this wasn't too bad,

Jonny nodded as he walked to the other side of the ship. He jumped off of it and landed on the ground, which leads to a town that the boy has yet to see. He then, decided to take his hands out of his pockets, no longer feeling bored. They boy was excited to be exploring this new island they came across. Though, he wanted Fletcher to come along too. It won't be the same without him, but someone had to watch the ship. Marines could possibly show up and raid the vessel. He started to walk, following Chiru to where they needed to go, He turned to his friend, retuning the wave he just gave.

"Don't worry Fletcher, we'll be back soon." Jonny said, saying his goodbyes until they all reunite. While following his captain, both pirates made it to a town. The boy looked around to gaze at the scenery. It was a nice place to live at in his opinion. It had a good population and a fair size. Jonny noticed Chiru walking up to one of the townspeople and quickly followed. As he asked where that were, they soon got the town's name along with the name of a pirate pillaging around here for years. This sparked a challenge for the boy. This jerk has been hurting these people and he doesn't like it and at all. Before they can do anything else, Jonny followed Chiru to the market. They needed to search for some food. The boy wondered what he should get to eat for later.

Hearing that they were going to beat up some punk brought a grin to the lightning boy's face. He was anticipating the eventual battle between him and the enemy. It was time that someone took down this Gat. From what the man told him and Chiru earlier, the townspeople had been living under his tyranny for sometime without anyway to stop him. That was until the Excision Pirates arrive to smash his face into the ground. Jonny was about ready to blast him with his lightning. When he sees how powerful the boy is and that he is a Logia, he'll certainly be in for a world of hurt. It is wrong for he is doing to these people in the town. Speaking of which, when they beat Gat, hey should think about renaming it. The boy gripped his right fist into his left palm, a sign that he was ready to battle this pirate and send him packing.

"You got it captain, I'm gonna maul them. Those jerks have been messing with these people long enough. It's about time they get put in their place." Jonny said, expressing his desire to defeat Gat and his crew. Nothing justifies the terrorizing of innocent people. If this pirate thinks he can get away with something, like this, he is going down and the boy will make sure he doesn't do this ever again. Once they get Fletcher, those pirates are toast. He is going to be flared when he hears about what has been happening within this town. Jonny then, followed Chiru from the man and to the center of the town. He wondered what would be there.

The marine battleship was now in sight. With the average eye, anybody could see this ship coming. It was quite huge. Now it remained floating in one spot, a good distance from the lava man. Standing on the edge of the ship, was the marine tracking them down. Paiku. In his hands, is a seastone pipe. That was the weapon he would use to pound the Logias. With his speed and power, the lava man alone had a very slim chance of winning.

Paiku's Seastone Pipe:

The marine battleship fired away as he raised his pipe. Several cannon balls would fly towards Fletcher and the ship. Camby gave him a detailed description on how he looked. All marine officers reported the descriptions of the ships that left the port during the time the pirates did as well. Clearly these were the criminals. The other two may not be aboard, but Paiku was ready to take down whoever was aboard even if there were 5 logias.

Of course Fletcher could easily stop the attack, if he was on guard. But if the cannons did not destroy the ship. Paiku certainly prepared to. He would leap off the ship and towards Fletcher, attempting to smack his side with a quick lash of the seastone pipe. If Fletcher made the same mistake he did with Chiru, this would send him flying back down, crashing into the ship.

Meanwhile Chiru approached a man selling food in the somewhat busy market. After handing him some beli, Chiru would receive a bag of meat, apples, and sake. The supplies would last the three of them at least two days. Now with Chiru's pockets practically empty, he began to ask the question he really needed to know.

"Where is Gat?"

The man stared at Chiru, his chin almost to the floor. He was not sure how to reply. Why would he want to know? Even if he did go there, did he want to die? Hesitating for a moment, he began to answer.

"I wouldn't go there if I were you. But he is in his palace, the Gat Palace. Look down there. That gold dome is no doubt, where he is."

"Thought so, thank you for your information. You guys will finally be freed."

Walking away with Jonny, the man became even more surprised. His eyeballs launched out several meters meanwhile his chinned dropped so far it cracked the ground. The man was left dumbfounded. Who was that man? His expression changed from surprised to fearful. He noticed one of the Gat Pirates right in front of the pink haired man.

Tan, tall, with blonde dreads, one of the pirates began to call Chiru out. He wore no shirt and had a lean but toned body, with gray baggy pants below tucked into tall black boots. His tongue hanging out of his mouth, he pulled out his cutlass. Looks like somebody wanted to fight the boss. Clearly pink hair was out of his mind... He was going to attempt to show them they would not stand a chance. Little did he know the man trotting along side him was a Logia.

"Where... are you going?! You won't touch master! Sisisisisisi!" the wild man screamed as he went to slash Chiru before the pink haired man could react.

Preparing to pull out his Katar, Chiru still expected the man to be defeated before he got the chance to respond. He knew the lightning man would kill him before he laid a finger on his captain. But would he make it in time? Could Jonny even kill him? Depending on Jonny's action, Chiru's life was on the line.

Fletcher felt a slight sense of dread when he saw the Marine ship on the horizon, standing up he felt himself muttering..."They can't be here, how could they have caught up?" But soon the foreboding feeling turned to excitement when he realized that there was likely a high ranking officer aboard, somebody to test his strength against, somebody who may actually be able to fight him. A wild grin adjourning his face, Fletcher stood up and watched as cannonballs cam sailing towards the ship. Raising an eyebrow he couldn't help but feel disbelief that they'd use cannonballs, against a freaking Logia. Regardless the magma man placed both his fists forward and cried out. "Eruption!" Following this numerous balls of lava would come flying from his hands and would hit the cannonballs, resulting in them melting and falling to the water harmlessly, long before they even came close to the ship. The Marine Captain, on the other hand, was a different story. He came hurtling towards Fletcher and the man grinned, prepared to take whatever the man threw at him, his liquid body making him immune.

Only to be hit full force by the baton and be sent crashing down into the deck, his side aching. "I really need to stop doing that." He murmured before standing up, now being below deck and making a decision about what to do next. Staying aboard was too dangerous, the strength and speed of the captain and the fiery nature of his own powers would result in the boat sinking rapidly, helpless against their might while Fletcher himself was helpless against the ocean. As such he quickly leapt forwards, his body transforming into lava as he burst out from under the deck, landing on the ground nearby, two holes now present on the ship. One of which was flaming....Chiru was going to kill him for this. Rearing his arm back, Fletcher would then throw it forwards, a large fist of lava flying towards the captain. If it missed it wouldn't hit the ship and would merely sail over it. Although it was already partially on fire...

Serious: The Pursuit (The Excision Pirates) Empty Re: Serious: The Pursuit (The Excision Pirates)

Post by Jonny Strider Tue May 13, 2014 3:23 am

After asking where the pirate, Gat was, the boy walked with his captain to the large golden dome, which served as his living quarters for the moment. He noticed the man they were talking to earlier looked quite surprised that they were going to fight him. This pirate must be powerful and he never seen anyone defeat him before, until now. The boy had to guess this man never meet a Logia, more specifically a boy made of lightning. He was wondering what Fletcher was doing while he and Chiru marched to Gat's fortress. He assumed that he was lying around without a care in the world. Little did the young pirate know that his friend was fighting a strong marine with part of their ship on fire. Of course, Jonny might not be so mad at him, but Chiru, on the other hand, would be furious.

While walking with his captain, he noticed a man who, in his opinion, only looked tough. The boy had a feeling he wasn't going to let them pass that easily without a fight. He was suspecting this man to attack them. If he did attacked them, then he would have made a mistake. This enemy before them had no idea that Jonny was Logia-type Devil Fruit user. He could easily defeat this man and maybe even Gat. Of course, the leader of a pirate crew is mostly the strongest, so he has to be cautious on this tyrant's strength.

Hearing the man scream that he won't let them touch his master, he went to slash at Jonny's captain. The boy immediately saw this and decided to take care of him. He quickly moved in front of Chiru, prepared to fight the enemy before him. He held up his right hand as the man brought the blade of his weapon down on him. The boy easily managed to catch the attack, much to the surprise of his opponent and the man watching from a distance. As young as Jonny is, he was a powerful fighter without doubt. He didn't spend years training on his home island for nothing. The result can obviously be seen after catching the enemy pirate's sword in his hand. However, he wasn't finished yet. Following up, electricity began to course around the boy's right hand. He then, looked up to the man he was fighting at this moment who noticed the lightning around his five-fingered appendage as well, but too slow to react.

Electricity emitted from his palm and swiftly passed through his opponent's sword. He was dealt with an electrical shock as a result. The man ended up screaming out in pain from the current now flowing through his body. Of course, it was only for a few moments until the lightning dissipated. The man was now chard black from the recent voltage. The boy ended up letting go of the sword that his enemy still held onto, despite his unconscious state. He then, fell to the ground backwards. One hit, that was all it took for this boy to bring down this amateur.

"Well, that was easy enough. I wonder how tough Gat will be when we meet, I hope he's strong" Jonny said, expressing excitement for wanting to defeat this villainous pirate before turning to his captain, "Well, we should keep on moving. There might be more guys like that to fight us, so we should be alert." The boy then, turned his attention forward and continued his path to the golden dome, which Gat resided. He was really going be in a world of hurt when he finds out his opponent is a Logia, the most powerful of all the Devil Fruit users. The man that Jonny and Chiru talked to earlier was again dumbfounded at the kind of ability the boy just displayed. He mouth was largely agape and his eyes were bulging out. Never had he expected to meet a person who had eaten the Devil's Fruit.

So this man was one of the Logias. Not bad, but he's still a rookie. He's got a lot to learn. Not all the tough guys are in the Grand Line. He messed with the wrong town and he's gonna pay. These words were going through Paiku's mind as he went to attack Fletcher again.

Geppo

Kicking the air, Paiku kicked away to avoid the magma fist coming at him. Most uses for Geppo is to float or walk in the air. Paiku used the Rokushiki technique to kick off the air as if it were a wall.

Bouncing like a bouncy ball, Paiku soared through the air to land on the ship, rolling several times to lessen the impact. Getting up, Paiku stared at Fletcher, who's attack sailed over the ship, luckily landing in front of the battleship and not hitting it.

"You've made a bad mistake. Prepare for the worst."

Patting his pipe on his hand, Paiku got ready to smash Fletcher. He decided to wait for his move. He had many ideas in mind, and if Fletcher was going for damage, he may end up hurting himself. Perhaps Paiku would let the rookie destroy his own ship, resulting in his own death. Below him was water, and that was one of his major weaknesses, another weakness Paiku had as well. Seastone. Fletcher would either need some luck, or help.

(OOC: Jonny please don't RP as my NPCs in the future. I purposely made this guy weak, but in the future we will have some stronger opponents, so don't RP as them, I want them to be a challenge Razz)

The blonde headed freak got fried, and collapsed to the floor. That was easy enough. Chiru did not have a doubt his crew mate would take care of the enemy. However, he was still prepared to get out his Seastone Gun Katar and take the fool down. Chiru wasn't that weak.

"I was thinking the same thing. Let's get back to Fletcher. We'll take a lunch break, and then we will take on Gat or whatever his name was."

Chiru was headed over to the docks now. After a minute of walking, they were almost back and Chiru could see smoke... Oh no. There was a chance of battle back there. But with who? Chiru began to walk a little faster, but he was not running. It may not even be a fight after all.

Fletcher saw the Marine leap through the air in some unorthodox manner, seemingly kicking off the air itself. But that was impossible! Well, so was a human being being comprised totally of lava and capable of manipulating the substance but the man had begun to view that as typical. Following this bizarre maneuver, the Captain landed onboard the ship, a sign of full frontal offense and Fletcher prepared himself to block or fly out of the way of the attack, but none came. The officer was clearly waiting for his opponent to attack and as such the magma man decided to disappoint him, a stream of steady lava suddenly shooting off the boat. Even if he were struck he would only go flying towards the dock next to where the ship was docked. A simple use of his travel technique, Fletcher knew that full frontal offense would be inadvisable against a Marine of such a high rank, particularly one who wielded Seastone, one of his few weaknesses and the only thing that could make him completely tangible. That was the strength of Seastone, it could make it as if a person had never even eaten their Devil Fruit, particularly if they were bound in the stuff.

His escape from the immediate range of the captain would be rapid, meaning that it would be difficult for him to react and attack all at once, particularly since he was on his guard. A shift to an offensive maneuver would require time, if not much, but that was all Fletcher needed, his speed amplified due to the nature of the technique. Following him landing on the dock, the magma man would rear his fist back before sending it flying forwards. "Catapult!" He exclaimed. Despite it being a reduced version it would be more than enough to kill the man were he unable to evade or block the attack, such was the nature of Fletcher's Devil Fruit. Once more, the man was unwilling to endanger his ship and if the fist missed, which it likely would, the attack would sail over harmlessly. Meanwhile, Fletcher tried not to focus on the pain in his side. Admittedly it had shaken him slightly which was the reason for his cautious behavior, his attacks now becoming separate from his body to prevent the captain from exploiting his vulnerability to the substance in his hand. Fortunately his experience in Loguetown had prepared him both physically and mentally to take damage. Of course, he wasn't sure how many more attacks he could endure at that level.

Serious: The Pursuit (The Excision Pirates) Empty Re: Serious: The Pursuit (The Excision Pirates)

Post by Jonny Strider Wed May 14, 2014 9:30 am

(OOC: Sorry Monarch, I'll be sure to remember next time.)

Jonny turned his head and nodded to Chiru. He was getting hungry after a couple of fights. You can't fight on an empty stomach, food is what fuels an individual, even a Logia. Besides, if the boy were to go fight Gat without eating anything, he would most likely be distracted. Turning his body in the direction his head was facing, Jonny following his captain along the pathway towards the docks. It was also the place where they left the sip with Fletcher. he wonders how his friend is feeling after they left for food earlier. A minute of walking later, Jonny could see smoke in the direction they were heading. That meant the ship was in danger and Fletcher may possibly be fighting someone. There wouldn't be gaseous plumes otherwise.

The young pirate began walking faster to the scene to see what was happening. He was close to running, but didn't want to leave Chiru behind. What foe could be challenging his friend to a battle. The Gat Pirates were out of the question. They probably didn't even know that the Excision Pirates were here now. Jonny's mind came to one conclusion, the marines. A marine must have arrived and decided to fight Fletcher. If that was the case then, he has to hope he can get there in time to help him.

Upon arriving at the crew's ship, the boy saw that the magma man was indeed fighting a marine. It appears that they had managed to catch up with the crew when they left Loguetown. From a closer inspection on the ship, there appeared to be 2 holes on the deck. One of them was a lit with flames. He had to guys it was Fletcher's doing. Chiru is going to be so angry wit him, when this is over, of course. Jonny saw his friend launch a fist of magma at the marine. He decided to prepare his own attack. Lightning moves incredibly fast, so it will be difficult for the enemy to dodge.

"Need a hand" He said, alerting Fletcher that his crew mates have arrived to help him out. The boy positioned himself and pulled back his open right hand. Electricity began to to build up in his palm and the mass became larger each passing moment. The light from the electric energy grow more evident as it shown more brightly. Hardly anytime has passed and the attack was ready to be fired.

"Rumble Bolt!" Jonny said as he thrusted his hand forward after the magma fist had been launched. A lightning bolt was then, shot from the boy's palm, rocketing at the speed of the element it so is. If the attack managed to hit the marine, he would get an unpleasant shock afterwards. If it missed, it would just simply soar up, missing the ship, like the fist of magma. Right now, the lightning bolt's target was the marine, set on to land a powerful blow.

Chiru trotted along side Jonny, but Jonny was the one who made the first move after they found their crew mate in a battle with the marines. Chiru observed from far away, noticing there is only one enemy in sight. He assumed the rest were in the battleship, which was nearby. That was a threat as well. They needed to drag the fight out a little further from the water... and the ship! Their ship was on fire and Chiru could already tell it was going to be destroyed! He was somewhat mad, but the adrenaline from the thrill of action ran over it.

He needed to do something to be useful now... he needed an idea to take out the marines in the battleship so they wouldn't interfere with his crew mate's battle. Chiru felt somewhat pathetic. But he knew if he used his head, he could do something good.

Geppo

Kicking off the air again, Paiku managed to avoid the magma. Without even noticing, he had avoided the rumble bolt as well. He ended up noticing when he was sent flying to the water. Jonny's attack moved much quicker than Fletcher, though it's power might not have been as strong. However, both the forces were strong enough to collide and cause a small explosion. This sent Paiku flying downwards.

Rankyaku

Landing in the water, Paiku swam to the top, and swam back downwards, collecting his Seastone Pipe that fell when he did as well. Paiku being a strong swimmer, dived back down. It could be hard to tell where he was at, due to the angles and all. Whatever the two Logias did, he would send a Rankyaku, another Rokushiki technique. This would slice through the water and straight to Fletcher. When he was out of the water, he would try to identify the other enemy. This was probably the other Logia reported. Perhaps the pink hair he heard of as well.

And so his crew arrived and almost immediately Johnny offered his assistance and surprising power. "Heh, I wouldn't say no to the second strongest person onboard." Fletcher replied cockily, his sense of humor shining through even in such a stressful time. Although somewhat disappointed that both attacks had missed, they forced the man down into the water where he would be at the mercy of their attacks. Already taking advantage of this, Fletcher launched an attack. "Eruption!" He cried, sending balls of lava flying from his body towards the water, superheating it and causing some of it to evaporate. It was merely a way to try and force the man to stay under, preventing him from attacking. Yet he remained full of surprises, sending a blade of wind flying towards him, it cleaved through him, causing no damage as his body was split in half, only to reform shortly afterwards, magma meeting magma and the two halves of the torso joining. Despite the annoyance of such a technique, it taught Fletcher an important lesson, the man didn't possess a Devil Fruit but was still able to emulate abilities that would possibly be granted by one, his ability to swim showcasing both these facts.

It was at that moment that a split second decision occurred within the magma man. "JOHNNY, SHOCK THE WATER!" He cried out as his assault continued, trying to keep the man under the waves. If his crewmate did strike the water with his lightning, it would result in serious damage to not only him, as it would be amplified, but potentially some ships in the area. However, he had a Seastone weapon on his side and some highly unorthodox abilities that seemed to focus on controlling air, jumping off it and weaponizing it both being potential abilities stemming from such a power. As such, they couldn't take any risks with this man, Fletcher having learnt that firsthand. His side was still aching from that damned attack!

Serious: The Pursuit (The Excision Pirates) Empty Re: Serious: The Pursuit (The Excision Pirates)

Post by Docile Thu May 15, 2014 12:12 am

((OOC: Jason do not meta game. Your comment about my characters using sea stone shouldn't have been mentioned because the characters do not know they have sea stone. This is breaking a site rule.))

Arriving at the port of Gat Island, the crew aboard were prepared for their assignment. They'd been sent pictures of the three men known as: Eche Chiru the man who murdered a marine for no reason other than stealing his weapon and gained himself a measly bounty of 5,000,000 beli. Fletcher Perkins who after witnessing his actions at Logue Town was revealed to be a Magma man and finally Jonny Strider who also seemed to herald a devil fruit, a lightning fruit to be sure as was also demonstrated in Logue Town.

With clear instructions passed on to the entire crew that these three men are to be captured or killed, the four men in the business exited their ship.

Climbing aboard the port first Ito cracked his knuckles

"Right we've arrived slightly tardy to the party, but this island is already under control by a notorious pirate named Gat. We are not here to deal with him, but here to deal with the three men who left Logue Town not too long ago. We are to arrest or kill them."

"What id this Gat guy gets in our way?"

"According to my calculations, he won't."

"Why'd you say that?" Kyren asked raising his hand as he leaned on his giant hammer.

"Well pirates don't often like other pirates moving in on their territory, from seeing what Chiru was like in Logue town starting a fight straight away I doubt he's a clever man. In fact his act in Logue Town merely seemed to be a dumb founded act in which he was begging to gain a bounty, hence why I've actually sent a note to the Navy about his bounty in case we fail."

"Failure isn't an option."

"I know Sun, I'm just covering all bases though. But my guess is these pirates will engage in combat. Seeing that they do we want to position ourselves in just the right place."

"Which is?"

"Well that all depends on what your fighting style is now doesn't it?" Ito said chuckling to himself. "First things first. Kyren deal with the ships."

Leading the way towards the path that lead into town, Ito waited whilst Kyren lifted a few devices from a bag which was resting on his back. Looking down the line of ships he could see that a battle between pirates and marines was already in full swing. Ignoring it, Kyren quickly set up one of the devices on their own ship then started applying them to the rest of the ships.

These devices would only unlock if a key was provided, if there was any force which tried prying the ship from the crocodile grip, then the device would explode into a 50 foot radius.

This was just an example of how cautious the anti pirate squad was. Joining Ito, Sun & Columbus Kyren spoke.

"Applied Sir."

Nodding Ito looked back towards the ships and headed down the path leading the way into town. Popping a cigarette in between his lips, Columbus muttered under his breath.

"Stupid Marines."

Ito, Sun, Kyren & Columbus all smiled as they made their way into town now as they realized they were in the right place. The pirates they'd been ordered to collect were here indeed and all of the information given was correct.

There were two logias users, lightning & magma was the most important piece. These two would be the real threats, whilst the captain Chiru would be easily defeated. All they needed to do was what they did every other time, be smart and carry out their attack with precision and they'd be just fine.

Serious: The Pursuit (The Excision Pirates) Empty Re: Serious: The Pursuit (The Excision Pirates)

Post by Jonny Strider Thu May 15, 2014 8:10 am

The boy saw the attack headed for Fletcher, but wasn't worried at all. Since he was a Logia, almost any physical damage he would have sustained just passes through him. This is why both him and Jonny don't have to worry so much about blocking an attack. Their intangibility helps benefit them in ways that any opponents can over come without the proper equipment such as seastone. When the slash of air came in contact with Fletcher's body, it simply passed through him with his body transforming into magma in the spot where it hit and reforming.

The young pirate nodded to the idea his friend gave and immediately ran to the edge of the docks. When he stopped, he crouched down and stuck his right hand into the water. Jonny was planning on discharging electricity from his body at a high voltage. This would result in the lightning being easily carried on into the waters, shocking other unfortunate individuals. At that moment, electricity began to course around the boy's body. Each second passing, more and more electrical sparks appeared around him as he generated the appropriate voltage needed to take down this marine. He even began to glow slightly.

"Let's see how you'll far against this, Thunder Surge: 5 Million Volts!" He exclaimed as a large amount of lightning discharged from from his hand, which was still submerged in the water. The intense electrical current was carried on into the seawater and dispersed in all directions. The amount of lightning was enough to shock the marine and take down any enemies nearby. If he can get out of the water in time, the man would be able to avoid the current that was surging through the water at this moment. He may be tough, but a human's body can only take so much punishment. The amount of voltage from the current was enough to shock him until he was unconscious. If that would happen, he would just be aimlessly floating in the sea.

Of course, Jonny can emit an even higher voltage, but he didn't wan to go over board. Only really strong guys can withstand lightning of that mass and power. Unbeknownst to the lightning boy, more powerful men were on the way. They are quite strong, but he has yet to find that out. He hasn't met these men yet, which explains why. Their strength could also have Jonny really push himself and maybe he could concoct new techniques. Right now, he needed to focus on defeated this marine.

Potentially, Jonny could have taken out the captain. Unfortunately, the marine's attack happened before Jonny made his move. There was a giant Rankyaku heading towards Fletcher. The attack was quite strong, and it was moving fast. Paiku did not know how to control haki, so the attack wouldn't hurt Fletcher if he let it go through him. He intended for it to be a distraction so he could get out. It could do a little more than

Temporarily, he was out of the water. During the split second before the waves returned, the marine jumped out. Using his Rokushiki technique, Geppo, Paiku climbed the air till he was at Jonny. He was moving somewhat slow to conserve energy, but he was still ready to defend himself at any moment.

While the marine was in the air, Chiru shot. The marine jumped and he missed. Paiku would not notice with everything going on at once, plus the noise. He would probably hear the pistol firing, but he would not notice. Still despite this, a good opportunity went to waste. Chiru needed to practice on his aim anyways. Maybe if he knew how to use his pistol the marine may be dead.

Damn I missed a good chance...

Chiru prepared to fire once more, but decided to wait several seconds before firing again. He had two pistols attached to each side of the Katar, so he could shoot once more before quickly reloading. Chiru had quite a lot of ammunition, he wasn't going to run out soon. The only problem was reloading which would take several seconds, and just one second could make a difference. Staring at Paiku as he headed towards Jonny, Chiru prepared to aim and fire. Hopefully this time it'll land.

This Marine was continually proving his strength, seemingly only growing stronger as time went on. So far not a single of their combined attacks had been successful. However, Fletcher decided that he wouldn't be able to stand against the collective force of two Logia users and their captain who was actually a proficient fighter in his own right...wasn't he? The magma man had never seen Chiru fight beyond the initial incident when he attempted to murder his captain and flatten Loguetown. Good times indeed. Of course, now was hardly the time to test his captain out and Fletcher decided it would be best to continue to attack the person. Formidable as he was, the man was only dangerous in close proximity, his Seastone weapon being useless at range, and although he had that damnable air hopping technique to get around, affording him a great deal of mobility, the magma man was almost certain that they could keep collectively keep him at bay.

"Catapult!" Fletcher cried as he thrust his arm forwards once more. Unlike before, the lava fist was now fully sized although it lacked the momentum to go forth and destroy the ship. Rather it would fall short were the captain unable to evade the technique. The lava would collide with the water and likely set, forming stone and some solid ground to stand on for ever the captain or Devil Fruit users. Granted, a sole platform in the middle of the water was a bad place to stand for anyone who couldn't swim, let alone someone whose body was hit enough to melt the substance you were standing on. However, it was the thought that counted. Unfortunately, Fletcher would inadvertently interrupt Chiru's shot if he did take it. "Keep him at bay guys, if he gets close its up to you to fight him captain!" The magma man called out as the lava fist hurtled towards the Marine. It seemed that he was taking more of a leadership role in the crew, directing his nakama to do what he wanted.

He wasn't doing it to undermine Chiru, in fact he didn't even realize he was doing it. His natural charisma and leadership skills kicking in and causing him to promote his own strategy. Of course, he wasn't entirely sure if his captain was skillful enough to fight in equal terms with the Marine, but he was the only one who could. Both he and Johnny were bare handed fighters and Seastone was one of their weaknesses, paralysis being possible with extended contact. Chiru had no weakness against the substance and as such he was their best chance were the Marine able to get in close.

Making their way into town the group headed for the large open park located to the lower right of the town. Finding themselves a large open area the squad sat down armed with their weaponry.

"Right, from this hill we've got a pretty good view point of the town. We can clearly see there are two large towers in the town. A large cloth tower and then there's the church where the bell is. Sun"

"Got it. You got the zip line?" he asked only for Kyren to toss the small bag over. "Cheers" Great thing about zip lines is how thin they are. They're hard to spot. Specially from so far down on the ground.

"Right Columbus I will want you to hide once these Gat pirates have been brought down. You know the drill."
Nodding Columbus laid back to enjoy the sun's warm glow.

"Kyren you do what you usually do. For now though men, each take one of the bags from Kyren and get to work. You know how we do it, so I don't expect any questions. Only actions. Lets break and remember keep your den den mushis on. Specially you Columbus I don't want another fiasco like we had with the Blue Moon Bandits."

Laughing Kyren got to his feet looking towards Columbus who was the newbie of the group.

"Alright, that was my bad, but she was coming on to me and I'm hardly going to say no am I?"

"Well next time you better or your out. You nearly cost us the bandits."

"Alright, alright. I get it. No booty calls."

As each member lifted a bag and headed their separate ways the crew knew the plan and would carry it out as expected. It was time these pirates were brought down. Couldn't let something like this escape. Two logias were dangerous and allowing them to see the light of day would be a problem.

Thankfully fools like this always grew too cocky thinking they were more invincible than they really were.

Serious: The Pursuit (The Excision Pirates) Empty Re: Serious: The Pursuit (The Excision Pirates)

Post by Jonny Strider Sat May 17, 2014 9:52 am

Jonny saw that the marine was headed straight for him. It was now his turn to fight the man. He took his right hand out of the seawater and got into a fighting stance. He had to be careful with fighting this opponent. He notices that this man holds a pipe in his hand. He wasn't just going to brush it off as some other weapon that would be useless against him. There had to be some reason the marine brought it along. Jonny may not know what capability the metallic object possess, but that doesn't mean he won't dodge it. He suspects that so called weapon is dangerous and that the appearance was to throw him off. There was no way a marine would just bring a useless piece of metal to a fight against a Logia he has knowledge about.

As many already know, those with the power of this kind of Devil Fruit are rumored to be invincible. With their over a certain element of nature as well as now being made of it, Logias are incredibly powerful. They can generate limitless amounts of a force of nature and can actually destroy entire cities single-handedly. They are definitely people not to mess with. However, as powerful as they are, even a Logia is not without weaknesses, especially to the sea.

The boy thought quickly on what type of technique he should use. He was thinking on trying out something new. An attack that was even harder to dodge than the "Rumble Bolt" and not for just it's lightning speed. The boy thought of firing not just one, but multiple bolts of electricity simultaneously. With more attack rushing to the marine all at the same time, one or two of them could at least hit. With a new technique formulate in his thoughts, the boy brought back his right hand and began to generate lightning in it. The small mass grew larger each passing second. When it was ready, the new attack was ready to be launched.

"Let's see you dodge this, Scatter Strike!" He exclaimed to the marine. With a thrust of his right palm, instead of a single lightning bolt coming out, multiple streams of electricity came firing out. They all have a target, which is the man in front of them. Each bolt of lightning flew through the air, close to one another as they soared straight for their common foe. It would be very impressive, if he managed to dodge every one. Though, it is still very difficult, especially when each of this bolt of lightning move at high speeds naturally.

Serious: The Pursuit (The Excision Pirates) Empty Re: Serious: The Pursuit (The Excision Pirates)

Post by Anarchy Sat May 17, 2014 12:05 pm

Jonny potentially could have defeated Paiku, this attack was even stronger than the previous one which still could've defeated the captain. He made a mistake preventing him from doing so this time. Calling him out. As soon as Paiku heard take this, he immediately went up.

Soru

Using another one of his Rokushiki techniques, Paiku went into the air avoiding the strike before Jonny even executed it. He sped forward, and now Paiku found himself face to face with Jonny.

He attempted to slam his pipe into Jonny's gut. If it landed it would send him flying away from the docks. The man was simply too strong and too fast for the bunch. What the rookies lacked was experience, which Paiku had as well. The Excision Pirates were going to be defeated if they did not do something.

Chiru didn't fire his next bullet. He realized he and even what he considered his invincible crew mates, were on the verge of defeat. The captain cared about his new comrades more than he cared about the victory. They needed to flee, even if it was temporary. They couldn't leave through their ship. First of all it was not in condition to set sail. Second, the battleship could easily shoot them down. The only way to go was into the town.

"Jonny!" Chiru yelled as the man prepared to smack his crew mate.

"Let's get out of here! Get into the town and we'll meet up somehow, we just need to survive! Retreat"

Chiru began taking off. He sprinted towards the town. There was no need to worry about his comrades, they were stronger than him anyways. Hopefully they got the message. He wasn't sure where they'd meet, but they couldn't meet at the Gat Palace. For now, Chiru would just need to get out of the marine's sight. Then, he'd worry about getting back together with his crew mates.

Gat sat on his golden throne, staring aimlessly as he continued to eat some grapes. So far his day had been boring as usual... Nothing to do but prepare for his plan. Entering the Grand Line in style. It would take time, and he felt it had been too long. Gat was going to make his move soon. Now seeing one of his soldiers enter, he figured something interesting was about to happen. He just had a feeling this message would get him excited... or at least change his mood.

The courier got on a knee, and began to deliver his report.

"Marine's have entered the town, your Majesty. One battleship has been spotted-"

"WHAT?!"

Marines entering the town... Worst of all there was a battleship. This could ruin his plans... so what he needed to do now was take out the marines. He wasn't too worried about that part, but it would be gambling. It depended who was on that ship. It may not even be a threat. He knew his Commanders were more than capable to take down your average marines.

"Send our 1st and 5th commander to deal with them. Use both ships."

"Um sir... 5th Commander Drass has been found injured as well."

Gat's veins began flaring, it appeared as if they were about to pop. Squeezing his fists, Gat took a deep breath. This was not good news as well.

"Send the Drass' men to sail alongside Anto. And return on details how Drass was taken out."

After the courier nodded and made his way out, Gat's skin began turning to stone. Picking up the bowl of grapes, he smashed it with his other fist. The bowl shattered like glass and the juice of the grapes oozed between his hands. Gat wanted to do more damage. He needed to vent his anger.

Serious: The Pursuit (The Excision Pirates) Empty Re: Serious: The Pursuit (The Excision Pirates)

Post by Lochstar Sat May 17, 2014 10:52 pm

Fletcher blinked slightly at Chiru's command, watching as his captain ran away, not even giving a second thought to his crew mate. Normally it would've been excusable, with Johnny being intangible due to a Devil Fruit. But his captain had left him just when he was in the range of one of the few people who could actually kill him. He'd completely ignored his request to engage them and just run off...well, Chiru might not have cared whether his crewmates lived or died, but Fletcher sure as hell did. "CATAPULT!" Fletcher roared, a large fist of lava being sent hurtling towards the captain. It was aimed so that it would essentially miss Johnny, only hitting the captain and the water behind him. Normally he would've sent attacks flying though the lightning man, but if the captain were to touch him with Seastone and a giant fist made of lava were to hit him...well, Fletcher would only have a coward and some ashes for a crew.

Of course, Chiru's plan had been a good one, and it was the only viable way for them to survive, as such the magma man was forced to give the order. "Let's get the hell outta here!" He yelled, unwilling to continue their assault against the deadly captain. Of course, the young man wouldn't retreat until he was sure his crew was safe, rather than just giving an order and running away as fast as possible. That truly did anger Fletcher, what reason did he have to follow a man who retreated without assuring that his comrades were able to do the same? Was it merely a mistake in his decision making? Did he see that Johnny was in trouble and, unsure of how to react, just told his crew to retreat for fear of his nakama's life? Or was it that he didn't truly understand the dangers that Seastone posed to a Devil Fruit user. If he possessed Seastone handcuffs there would be problems as they could not only neutralize their powers, but paralyze them as well.

As such escape would be paramount, engaging the man was difficult enough at that point, a fact only amplified by the oceans nearby and the fact the man wielded Seastone. Potentially the only way they could take him on would be if they were able to dispose of the weapon. Or at least fight him on their terms. The captain had come out of nowhere and utterly dominated them from the get go, the "invincible" magma man unable to even land an attack on him or slow him down. Then he stood against the entire Excision Pirates (which were admittedly just three men, but two were Logias and that made it impressive in and of itself) and forced them to retreat! Yes retreat really was the best option.

Serious: The Pursuit (The Excision Pirates) Empty Re: Serious: The Pursuit (The Excision Pirates)

Post by Jonny Strider Sun May 18, 2014 9:33 am

The lightning boy made a big mistake in his next attack. He unintentionally gave the marine the chance of dodge his numerous lightning bolts. He could have just said the name of his new technique, but he might not have been thinking the tactic through enough. Now he was left open for an attack. Luckily, he was prepared for any attack at close range. Hand-to-hand combat is Jonny's forte, so he has an advantage in that area. One thing the marine didn't count on was the boy's suspicion on the metal pipe, despite not knowing what it is made of. He now saw the enemy move much faster than before, using another technique he had no clue about.

Using the speed of the technique, the marine sped quickly to the Logia. Both fighters were now staring each other down at a close enough distance that they can settle this with a fist fight. Jonny then, noticed the foe swinging the pipe towards his gut. Being quick to react, the boy used both his hand to catch the weapon instead of letting pass through him. Though, he was sure that no good would come of that by just letting the attack connect in that manner. It was quite unorthodox for a Logia to catch a blow rather than use intangibility. However, something felt strange for the boy. He felt as if his power is draining from his body. He quickly let go of the pipe by pushing it along with the marine backwards. He then, heard Chiru order a retreat for the crew. Well, that was certainly unexpected from him, but highly recommended. Right now, they were close to losing.

"Well, gotta do what captain says. Besides, we look like we're losing, bad. We definitely need more training. Their are, without a doubt, pirate a lot stronger than this guy we're fighting. I might not last another minute with him, so might as well just follow the chief. He said, following the order's of his leader. With a quickly turning motion, his back was facing the enemy. He then, turned and saw a fist of magma headed for the the marine now behind him. If it hit, it would most certainly burn. Magma was much hotter than fire and even lava. He would be left with serious scars or be turned to ashes at worst. The boy feels very grateful for his friend's assistance. Fight one Logia was bad enough, but two were more than dangerous. Jonny would like to stay and finish his battle with the marine, but has to follow the captain's orders.

Turning back to the direction Chiru was running in, the boy followed him. The path his leader choose lead well to Gat Town. Even though he wanted to continue his confrontation with the marine, he has to listen to the captain. It wasn't like Chiru at all to order a retreat, like this. Though, the crew was at a disadvantage against this marine. He can move in the air and dodge their attack with incredible speed. He was even fast enough to avoid Jonny's lightning attacks. Though, he accidentally warned the marine on is last technique, giving him the time to evade.

Serious: The Pursuit (The Excision Pirates) Empty Re: Serious: The Pursuit (The Excision Pirates)

{OOC: By captain you meant Paiku, right Lochstar? Because Jonny interpreted it as Chiru, but I'm just going to ignore the end of his post. If I was the one who read it wrong I guess I'll edit this post XD)

Chiru was worrying about himself that's why he was escaping. But he also worried about his comrades. They were his treasures and his key to the Grand Line. There was no way Chiru wanted to leave them. That's why he called for retreat. Their safety was just as important as his, and he knew fully well he couldn't have saved him due to the marine's incredible strength. Chiru isn't heartless. Turning around if his crew mates were following his order, he saw Fletcher send a giant fist towards Jonny and the marine. What the hell was he thinking?

"Quit causing a commotion and let's go! Worry about your life, that's what's most important!"

Turning his head back forward, Chiru continued to dash towards the town. Hopefully the magma man would follow his orders. The crew needed to cooperate for them to be successful.

Chiru went under a large gate, and continued into the town. He knew Fletcher and Jonny were at somewhat a large distance from each other so if Fletcher didn't use his head start to his advantage, Paiku may have both the logias in his hands. Jonny needed to hurry and escape as well, Chiru did not want to lose a crew mate. The three were somewhat scattered now, and Chiru wasn't sure what he was going to do to meet up, but he knew he'd think of something when the time came. Now he needed to focus on survival. Sprinting through the town of Gat, Chiru had his eyes set on going to a hotel. He needed a quick breather.

"Never show your back to your opponent!"

Approaching Jonny and catching up, Paiku was going to attempt to take the man down. However, he was interrupted by a ball of magma. Damn devil fruit users. Jumping backwards he realized the magma was going to hit him. Using geppo to launch himself upwards, the magma soared past him and into the water. Paiku launched himself back down, and Jonny was already too far ahead, along with the others.

Easily he could catch up, but he was somewhat tired from using all the Rokushiki techniques. Pulling out his den den mushi, Paiku called for back up.

"Send back-up and get rid of the pirate's ship. We're going to need a good amount of men because we have the other crew to take care of as well..."

They were going to invade this town to get rid of the three pirates, and along the way take out the Gat Pirates as well. He needed to conserve his energy, so for now Paiku would rest. The pirates had no way out since the ship was going to be destroyed. Paiku stared at the members who were scattered around, for he continued contemplating ways to torture the pirates.
